Facebook has an "edge ranking" what happens is if you have more then x posts per hour it will only show top y number of posts. The posts it shows are based on what interactions you have with that page also how many likes / shares it has. So "recycled funny pic groups or company's are now doing "like if/ share if" posts so they can maximize views without forking over cash.
