the phrase "Take Me" is a double-entendre ( a word with multiple meanings), and in this context, she means take me as in "Have sex with me", but Garth interprets it as the other meaning of "taking someone to a different place" -- the fact that he misunderstands what she means makes this quote funny.

Also the "Would you like to have dinner some night?" infers that she would like to eat dinner with him, like on a date, but he is being too literal by saying that he likes to have dinner every night (as opposed to skipping dinner altogether)

Waynes World 1 and 2 and the skits were always filled with such great dialogue.

"I got you a gift!" "A gun rack? I don't even own A gun. Let alone MANY guns that would necessitate a RACK!"

The other one that stuck in my family was when Garth finds the condoms and goes:

"Ribbed for her pleasure...Ewwwwwwww." I heard the story from my parents that my older sisters, i was too young to remember, saw the movie they would continually say the line because it would crack my parents up even though they had no idea what it meant.
