It's from Die Hard. It translates as "Shoot the window" on babelfish but in the movie Alan Rickman repeats "Shoot the glass" in English when McClane doesn't have any shoes on.

I saw somewhere that they killed him so people would think no one else important die in that episode, so Lori was a surprise

As bad as Lori was, the thing that got me was Carl had to kill his mother. Lori wasn't my favorite character, but Jesus, the look Carl had after he SHOT HIS MOM IN THE FACE was haunting. I think Rick is mostly torn apart by the fact that his family is now completely broken, his son and newborn don't have a mother.

My friend and I(both black) were watching the show and made a comment about there being too many colored folks for this show...Busted out laughing when t-dog died and what happens? Another black guy gets added to the sh....oh never mind, they fixed the equation for us.
