I remember the first time I walked in on Bunny when he was passed out on the floor like this, I ran over to him all scared going, "Bunny!" he shot up real quick like, "huh, what, huh?" then looked at me like I was retarded.

Question, I rescued a bunny few weeks ago and it does this thing where if you stand still he will run around your legs brushing up against them, then stop and put its forepaws on your leg and sniff your leg. Rinse and repeat. My question is, is the bunny sizing me up before he kills me?

this goes for cats and a lot of other creatures as well. even humans do this when they get in the fetal position. the belly is a very vulnerable and soft place, so it is instinct to protect it. not protecting it in the presence of others means they are not threatened by them.
