I live in MN, and the amendment trying to make gay marriage illegal came down to my county.

It is uteri. However, be careful. Words only change "us" to "i" in the plural if it's Latin-based. For example, octopus should never be octopi. Octopuses is acceptable, and octopodes is acceptable too, but never octopi.

As a bisexual ent from Maine, I'm so excited. When question 1 failed to pass a few years back, prior to me turning 18, I was ripped apart by it. Everybody in my high school was basically hugging each other and saying "in a few years, we'll be able to vote, and it'll pass". Hearing that not only was weed legalized in 2 states this year, AND that Obama won, AND that gay marriage was now recognized in my state, gave me a sense of overwhelming joy and hope. I live in a really god-fearing, gay-hating community, (my step-father being one of them, but he's an ent like me, and my mom is pro-gay rights but doesn't smoke) so needless to say this was a HUGE win for Maine. I am so thrilled and proud of my fellow Mainers following the correct path and giving thousands of people the right to marry who they truly love! Thank you guys so much!

True. Though it is most times easier to buy than alcohol. If you were so inclined, I know Ontario does offer an MMAR card. Then you can get it delivered by mail.

where the hell do you live? I'm pretty sure I can walk into any liquor store, gas station, convenient store, or supermarket and buy alcohol in a matter of seconds. I'm in the US, but Ive been to Canada many times, and as far as I remember, it's pretty similar to the US in that regard.

Alcohol can only be bought in specific stores; you couldn't just walk into a convenience store and buy booze. In Ontario (it's regulated on a provincial level) you have to go either to the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) or the Beer Store.

I drove through Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, and BC a few years ago on a road trip and I recall the alcohol prices being insanely high. How much for a 12 or 24 of Molson or whatever cheap beer people drink in your small town? Here in the states you can often get 30packs of cheap beer for ~$15.

Yeah I suppose that's a valid point. Alcohol is a bit more expensive here than in the US. For a cheapy 30 pack you'd probably pay 20. For a good quality 12 pack you'd pay maybe 15. Alberta would be the cheapest place though. BC and Ontario have a lot more tax than Alberta. So you'd probably end up paying 5$ extra in those provinces.

I'm from Ontario and while I'm not sure about 30 packs, most of the beer is sold in 24s, which go for about $28 for the cheapest brand, and around $40 for the mid-high end beer

Yikes! Here in the Northeast US, 30-rack of cheap beer is about $17, and they don't sell 30's of good beer... but a 12-pack of Sam Adams can vary in price, but is generally around $16 I think.

It depends on what province you’re in. I live in Ontario and that is not the case but thousands of store owners signed a petition because they want to sell alcohol in their stores. Hopefully it will change soon to the Quebec model where you can find beer pretty much anywhere :) And it's cheaper too.
