As you missed several commas in the first paragraph of explaining how commas work, I'll assume that it was done on purpose. But as far as I know, the first person singular subject personal pronoun, "I", has to be written with a capital "I"; "i" is not correct. Hah!

When I learned Latin in college I discovered that the most heavily used words tended to have the most irregular conjugations. Latin is dead, so it is no longer changing, but English is alive and evolving. The point is that heavily used words like 'you' and 'are' can and will be shaped by our use of them. Given technology and our ever shrinking attention span, it is inevitable that one day the official spelling of words like these becomes 'u' and 'r'.

One day, text message shorthand will become the normative language. So get off your pedestal and enjoy the internal view of evolution.

Well 15 years ago spelling using short hand was convenient because you didn't have to type out the entire word, quicker, one would say. But if it has taught us anything the next gen kids took it to heart and has out right made them terrible at spelling. Lesson learned.

Apostrophes are used in two main ways, to show where letters were removed in a conjunction, for example, can't, won't, and you're. They are also used in possessives. for example "Bob's misuse of grammar is atrocious".

Based on those two general rules, which of these is a conjunction and which is possessive: "its" or "it's?

English is a clusterfuck, so why don't you take that pedestal out of your asshole and join us in the real world. Grammar is meant to serve clarity and ease of reading. If someone's misuse of grammar makes it less clear or harder to read, then you should criticize them nicely and explain their mistake while providing a better way to express their thoughts.
