According to Reddit "Help",

Broadly speaking, a label of NSFW is meant to reflect what would be considered risky to view in front any random coworker in a mainstream corporate white collar job in North America.

Also, about a NSFW tag in /r/WTF

Different subreddits will have different tolerance levels. While some subreddits will shoot for a solid G rating, others are more inclined to allow PG or even PG-13 content without an NSFW label. For this reason, there is usually little to gain by challenging a moderator's decision regarding what is NSFW.

And according to the rules of /r/wtf within reddit,

I merely pointed out that your argument hinges on the fact that people care if youre on this subreddit at work or not bitching about NSFW tags, when the upper limit before NSFW tags in this subreddit is typically PG-13.

You, sir, are wrong. And while it does require interpretation, this subreddits name alone along with front page content tells you it will not we as suitable for work as the rest.
