That's got to be a federal offense. That guy is going to have a meeting with very serious looking people in black suits.

[–]revoman 1 point2 points ago

I don't see how this could be illegal in any way, yet.

[–]TalkingBackAgain 0 points1 point ago

It could be construed as a threat or an incitement to harm the president. I'm pretty sure there's a few people in the secret service community who are not okay with that idea.

[–]revoman 0 points1 point ago

I said yet. There is still the 1st amendment for a little while longer.

[–]TalkingBackAgain 0 points1 point ago

We're working on that now.

Because it's Reddit and it's a day before the election, you will be the first person to be picked up after we slam that door shut.

You get to pick the place where we will incarcerate you for the remainder of your natural life. Do you have any specific preferences or do we just send you to Bagram airbase?

[–]revoman 1 point2 points ago

Hawaii, please...

[–]BravoZulu23 1 point2 points ago

There is no crime here, though he'd likely get interviewed by the secret service, as they do with every real or perceived threat to the President.

Well considering twitter is awash with death threats against Romney and people straight out saying they are going to assassinate him and noone seems to care, then I doubt this could be a crime. though it is rather tasteless.

I would not threaten Willard in any way, shape or form. I do believe that he is fantastically not suited to the job of being president of the united states. Whatever qualities he has, and he has demonstrated ability to acquire wealth, he is not fit to become president. He does not have the temperament, the background, the taste for it.

Also, through all the interactions I have seen with him I sincerely believe he is not a likeable man. I refer to the piece of footage that puts him at the table of supporters [actual voters] who offer him food from the local delicatessen. A bakery with regional renown. In-the-first-sentence out of his mouth, he derides it as being junk from 7-11. This is a man who genuinely looks down upon people less well-off than he is, ie: just about everybody in the US. There are a few things I will expect and want from my elected official, sneering derision is not one of them.

The decision to not having him be president is to be made at the ballot box, I really do believe he is not qualified for that office.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points ago

Sorry qualification and temperament wise he is far more suited than Hussein. Heck just recently Hussein instructed his voters to vote for "revenge" is that the kind of rhetoric we need?

[–]TalkingBackAgain 1 point2 points ago

I have to disagree on the qualification.

Willard went on a foreign policy milk run and he managed to put his foot in his mouth everywhere the plane touched down. It's one thing to put on a dog and pony show for the voting public, Where the rubber meets the road, people pay attention to what he's saying, and what he was saying was just stupid. And he got rightly fragged for it.

I've seen footage of Willard steamrolling over someone who didn't quite agree with him. Which is something you can do with the pink-haired ladies who are awed by Mitt the multi millionair, but that shit won't fly when he's talking to Vladimir Putin. This is a guy who was trained to spot weakness in an adversary and use it. Or the Chinese leadership, when they smile kindly at Willard's suggestion and then, all nice and polite like, tell him to go fuck himself.

I'm certainly not saying Obama hasn't made some sad decisions that I'm not happy about, but even the republicans don't like Romney.

Romney has been entitled all his life. Other than that, I can't say I disagree with some of his positions: he's held every position on every topic. I have agreed with Willard more than once, just because he said yes where he used to say no. That doesn't mean he hasn't changed his mind in the mean time, but at one time, Willard and I agreed.

Kerry was called a flip flopper, Romney is the quantum candidate: he holds every position on every topic all at the same time.

Which makes you wonder what position he'll choose to take when he has to make a hard decision for one side or another. It's not hard to say, it's impossible to say what side he'll choose to be on at any given moment.

The man has proven to be a shrewd, and unaccountable, corporate raider. Let's at least give him that. That doesn't make him a fit person to be the president of the united states. The man, truly, is not qualified for that position.

I would prefer a few questionable gaffes over another Hussein apology tour.

[–]TalkingBackAgain 0 points1 point ago

We're not possibly fishing for an invective-filled exchange with the constant 'Hussein' references, are we?

It's his middle name. He didn't choose it.

We're not going to agree on who the best candidate is. But that's fine, I don't have a problem with that.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

What its his name why can't I use it? I mean you call Mitt "willard" which is fine because it's his name, although no one but you calls him that.

[–]TalkingBackAgain 0 points1 point ago

Other people call him Willard.

Perhaps you use Hussein because Mitt is Willard's second name. That would be an easy exchange.

I'm not saying a true republican couldn't be a great alternative to Obama. But true republicans couldn't cut it in today's GOP. They wouldn't even accept Reagan anymore and he was as close to a patron saint as they had in the last century.

Eisenhower comes to mind.

It really can't be Mitt. He's just not cut out for it.

[–]Saxdog2005 0 points1 point ago

The fact that you can't call him anything except "Hussein" undermines any points you might think you've made.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

I called him Hussein because the other douche insisted on using the name williard, perhaps you have heard the phrase "turn about is fair play" yes?

[–]Saxdog2005 0 points1 point ago

I've also heard the phrase "two wrongs don't make a right ". That's one of the problems with this country today. People see somebody doing something wrong and then use that to completely excuse the same behavior in somebody they like.

An Obama doll is hung at the local gas station..

[–]skafool[S] 0 points1 point ago

I seriously don't understand, why I am getting downvoted. I posted something up that was rumored near my county. I didn't hang the doll up nor do I find it endearing.

[–]Clb82 0 points1 point ago

Then who's the other one beside Obama!!?????

[–]skafool[S] 0 points1 point ago

Biden

[–]WhitePowerJim -2 points-1 points ago

[–]Steorra 1 point2 points ago
