I'm 26 and I only found out about this show a few weeks ago. I'm currently watching season 9 and I love this season despite all the comments I've read about it.

The thing is... I see it as a new show, and it's fresh. I like seeing JD on the first few chapters, but as a pseudo-secondary character. It's like seeing one of those "his/her/their story" episodes.

I know what you're trying to do here, but even then, season 8 was easily the least good of the "real" seasons. Same tired jokes dragged on for no reason. I really think they should have ended with season 7.

But season 7 sucked! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 were amazing, 6 was ok, 7 was short and felt rushed/had no great episodes. Season 8 was alright up until the finale, where it turned great. Scrubs had one of the best finales of any show I've ever seen.

Season 9 is okay if you think about it as a spinoff instead of a final season.

Yeah, except for Breaking Bad, Seinfeld, Twin Peaks, NYPD Blue, How I Met Your Mother, That 70's Show, The Simpsons, The Sopranos, The X-Files, Taxi, Get Smart, Dexter... I'm probably forgetting a few, but yeah, all of those shows were better than Scrubs.
