    Also using a fat with a higher melting point (butter instead of margarine) will allow the gluten to form a more stable frame for the cookie before spreading out. letting the formed cookies sit in the fridge for a few hours before baking will also help.

    1. Order 26 (2 bakers dozen) chocolate chip cookies from McDonald's ($8)

    2. They let them cool (IMO, they taste better while cold, yet still chewy.

    3. Eat them all within 2 hours.

    4. Realize that at 150-200 calories per cookie, you've eaten over 4500 calories worth of cookies in a very short amount of time.

    5. Do it again next week.

    I tried something similar to this once. I baked brownies, put home made caramel on top of that and topped it off with chocolate moose. What I made was a globby mess that tasted like pure sugar and gave me the worst sugar buzz ever.

    I deemed it would be too difficult that way, so made them like this. That's marshmallow leaking up in the bottom left corner. I used cinnamon graham crackers, and they turned into a cinnamon goo that was amazing. We took them camping and a raccoon stole them, I saw it outlined on our tent with the bag in its mouth. R.I.P. super-cookies. Q_Q

      They bake kind of weird, IMHO, so here is my variation on this:

      -Make the chocolate chip cookie dough, but don't put in the chocolate chips.

      -Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch or so, kind of like sugar cookie dough, but not as thin. Try to roll it out rectangular.

      -Put a layer of graham cracker crumbs on the dough. In stripes, arrange chocolate chips and mini-marshmallows alternatively.

      -Roll the entire thing up like a jelly roll so that you can see (when looking from the end) both the chocolate chips and marshmallows.

      -Cut into discs, arrange on cookie sheet and bake.

      -SWIRLED S'MORES COOKIES!

      We started to, but I used the wrong dough recipe (shortening based, instead of butter based), so the dough didn't harden enough and the whole thing fell apart while rolling. So we just smashed everything together, rolled it into balls, and made regular s'mores cookies instead of swirled ones.

      DO IT! Do y'all have graham crackers? I'll bet your superior chocolate would make it dank. Ideally, you toast your marshmallows on a stick over a wood fire. I do mine super slow so the outside of the 'mallow is light brown and crispy, and the inside is liquid. If you're feeling super fancy and have a mixmaster, you can make marshmallows from scratch. See Alton Brown's recipe.

      I don't know I feel like s'mores lose that special something when you haven't got a good quarter-inch of charred marshmallow with twig bits stuck in between those chocolate pieces.

      Although, wait, holy shit... can you bake cookies over a campfire? Is that a thing that can happen?

      Like, wad up the dough and put it on the end of a stick, shove it over the embers. I bet it would take forever but you'd end up with a cookie on a stick, wouldn't you? That sounds awesome!

      Depending on the batter, cookies don't actually take that long to bake (like 10 - 15 mins). A standard Choc-chip cookie dough goes in at fairly low temperatures (like 180 celsius, ~350 fahrenheit) and a standard campfire burns at roughly 900 C (~1,650 F). you would get a rock hard lump of sugary chocolate chip stuff at the end of your stick fairly quickly, and you would have to be careful not to burn it..

      EDIT: Grammar.

      EDIT II: Also, the wad might not cook all the way through, but I'm not sure on that, just a guesstimate.
