Honestly, no there isn't. This post is a big exception in that it has 2 top comments calling out its' racism but often people saying something is sexist/racist are downvoted/ignored. Ignoring the fact that, you know, racist submissions are even this highly upvoted.

Hell, the entire reason SRS/CB exist as a venting place because the majority of reddit doesn't want to be confronted with their racism (among others faults).

You're falling victim to the confirmation bias. You think reddit is racist, therefore you see and remember the racist comments. SRS is an echo chamber made to amplify that effect, a whole sub that congregates those kinds of posts making it seem like the whole site is like that.

This is the norm. I called someone on it just the other day. Calling reddit racist is a new karma grab. No one cares if anything racist has been said, and if something you deem racist is highly upvoted it's almost certainly because of how funny people find it, not because of its "racism."

There are racist websites. Stormfront, chimpout, overthrow. Reddit is not one of them.

Your argument doesn't present anything but your assumption. It's very easy to poison the well by saying something like 'echo chamber/circlejerk'. I'd even argue that saying something is a circlejerk on reddit has in itself become a bit of the same 'karma grab'.

And for me personally at least, SRS isn't an echo chamber. I don't even subscribe to it, I just visit when I see a particularly racist/sexist comment or submission, which is far more often than I'd like.

This thread is a perfect example that saying reddit is racist is absolutely a circlejerk comment. None of the top comments are racist. Two are saying reddit is racist. Even among the most downvoted comments only one or two are racist, all the rest are calling him ugly.

Personally, I much prefer shit that explores the familiar ideas with more depth (ie. Clipse doing amazing crack raps whilst also delving into the ugly/depressing side of it).

Yeah, I can't ignore that some of the music is a bad influence on kids and peers, but it's usually very young artists that I can't personally blame.

The issues are more with the execs that jump to throw money at kids like Chief Keef* and his cronies. There's just something weird about it you know?

When Pitchfork took Keef to the gun range for that Selector video, that was weird as fuck. They apologized, but it's pretty strange it even happened.

*I like some of his music, but it's a strange situation to me.
