I think the secret to how quickly they put on their shades is actually that their shades only have one temple. Notice how conveniently difficult it is to see the other temple.

I think it's because every image in here people are putting them straight on their face, instead of hooking them on like MIB. Come at a angle, let one temple catch, and pivot it on that point. It's how I put my glasses on/off every day, and every time I use my computer.
