So the guy was trying to extort money from the truck owner, stabbed the tire and the knife was actually ejected into his arm. You can see the blood and the messed up arm.

Edit: Actually I'm not sure about the cause of the injury. It could have been simply from the force of the explosion, but I'm no expert.

No it is still attached, I think the explosion pushed his hand away at such a high velocity it snapped his radius and ulna into bits giving the illusion of a stump instead of a hand. I think his friend may have picked up a finger or something at the end when they walk away however.

Can't tell if his friend is picking up part of his buddy's bone or if it was the tool used to pop the tire. I don't know what kind of tool it would have been though because the thing his buddy picked up wasn't sharp looking at all.

I think that white thing that was picked up at the end was part of his buddy's bone and I have no idea where the knife looking tool went after the tire blew up. I say knife looking tool because it kind of looks like he was fiddling with something as he was walking over to pop the tire in the beginning of the video.

All in all, this was certainly instant karma.

You are correct. The air pressure in big cargo trucks like this is wayyy higher thanon a standard car. The tires are a lot thicker and can hold very high pressures. Like up in the hundreds where a standard car/truck tends to range from 30-60lbs of pressure. So when he slashed the tire, a few hundred pounds per square inch of pressure shot out of the cut he made and blew him up

The tire is likely over 100 psi. That is 3 times more pounds per square inch of pressure than an average car tire. Not to mention the volume in those truck tires is much greater than an average tire. It's basically setting off a bomb.

Truck tires are reinforced with wire. Stuff is pretty sharp when it tears apart from a blowout or something like that.

Possible a piece of the tire just sliced his arm open.

I was stopped at a light and one of these types of tires blew on a trash truck next to me. My windows were down and the force shattered my windshield. It was on the way to work and on the way home I got a fix it ticket from a highway patrolman. He didn't believe me.

        Well, considering that more than likely it broke his arm i don't think the knife did it. Trucks like that have over 100psi in their tires and that would be plenty to break bones. In the last couple frames you can see his arm doesn't sit right. The knife may have done something but the air pressure alone could shred his arm.

          My high school physics teacher and I set one of these up one day, but we used two pieces of tin foil to seal the exit of the tube, and one to seal the "entrance" of the air. This was done so that you don't need to breach the seal; we just let the vacuum run its course. At the other end, a foot or two from the tube, an empty soda can was placed, which the ping-pong ball shot clean through.

          Think on that for a moment. What velocity would the ping-pong ball need, given it's small mass, to go through the soda can, instead of bouncing off of it, crumpling it, or just forcing it to recoil?

              If I'm seeing this right that guy may be checking to see whether or not the tire needs some air. On heavy trucks it's easy to tell if tires are low by smacking them with a blunt object...
