In the Zombie genre there is nothing more intriguing than the zombie that still has something from the pre-infection world. My expectations are always set for a zombie that still is trying to play an instrument, or do their job. Not all zombie movies or shows are like this but I love it when it happens.

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of the walker being someone that clearly survived the beginning of the ZA (has since turned) and one of our survivors using the firearm in a last ditch, out-of-ammo, type scenario.

Maybe I'm just not articulating my thought clearly.

I see it. T-Dog is battling zombies all Equilibrium style, running low on ammo. Finally, he's out, stabs a few, reaches out to walker's gun in holster, grabs gun, blows off walker's head with walker's own gun, continues fighting. No one fucks with T-Dog.
