"One World Trade Center" is the official name for the tallest tower, but nobody calls it that.

The whole site is called the World Trade Center. In the past, people rarely used to refer to "One World Trade Center" or "Two World Trade Center" either, but people still collectively called it the World Trade Center, so what people do or do not call the tallest tower in the complex is irrelevant.

I watched a show once where there was a blackout in NY, and the police freaked the f*ck out cause heaps of looting, general violent behaviour and disregard for the law (more than usual) happened in these situations.... Is it true? Or should I stop watching tv...?

Do the people running behind the WTC and Empire State Buildings intentionally make sure lights always stay on during moments like this? Like do they work on making sure there are always back up back up back up generators and other things just so that even if everything else fails, the lights can always stay on in those buildings no matter what?
