I've lived in South Jersey for 16 years... NJ is a beautiful state. The beaches are nothing like this. We are merely victims of the media and the cast of "the jersey shore". Those dbags represent only a small fraction of the population in NJ.

EDIT: Also.. south jersey is a completely different state than north jersey.. farmland rural and suburban area. it's quite nice when you can see the horizon a few miles away.

This is looks like spring break, as the water is all of 40 degrees in 'spring' in New Jersey, that doesn't happen there. Never seen a beach look like this in New Jersey.

NE PA reporting in (Scranton), we've had nothing but lots of wind and some rain. The rain/flooding from last year was way worse. Heck, the worst thing I'm sad about is the gusting wind ripping all the pretty leafs off the trees shortening their time to look brilliant for fall.

I grew up in South Jersey basically lived at the beach all summer. They were some of the best times in my life. This is horrible its all so surreal. The beaches were always very clean and the people are nothing like Jersey Shore. Most of them are not even from jersey if they are its North Jersey which if you lived here is much different from South Jersey.

I'v never seen Jersey beach show but they should be fined or the show cancelled till they clean up the beach, Having the beach looking like that for the T.V. is just sad.
