Pretty sure that the boardwalk is just under construction, and the hurricane didn't rip it up.

Fuck off.. My grandparents live there. There are morons in every state, that doesn't mean we should be wishing a storm on them. Usually I don't mind so much when people rip NJ, but this isn't really the appropriate time.

I was keeping things light. I live 15 minutes away from where this photo was taken, across the bay and on the water, and there is no doubt my home will be a swimming pool tomorrow. I didn't wish anything on anyone.

I'm a NJ resident as well and my house is about to get shit on by this storm as I live two blocks from the bay. I am in the same "morbid" situation as you are. If posting things like this allow myself or others to laugh in the midst of something terrible, I will do it.

The boardwalk is being resurfaced. the areas shown were stripped before the storm. Don't report what you don't know to be true.
