For anyone wondering, the stadium does have a roof, but the weather went straight from "not worth closing it yet, we don't even know if it's going to rain at all" to "it's raining so hard it would be unsafe to operate the roof" in the space of minutes. Not really anyone's fault it wasn't closed.
