Not sure if it's been posted before? Here's a quick way to tell:

Did you make this? -> It hasn't been posted.

Did you find this online? -> It has been. Over 3 times. This month.

[–]e8ghtmileshigh 2 points3 points ago

I like the "did you make it - post it! did you find it - don't post it" philosophy.

[–]Vindicator209 2 points3 points ago

Good thing Reddit wasn't made for people sharing interesting things from around the internet or anything, otherwise that statement would be really dumb.

[–]drwormtmbg 1 point2 points ago

I usually just post it first, if it makes it to the frontpage, then I know it's a repost. Otherwise, I found something original.

[–]Amandrai 0 points1 point ago

I have OP tagged as "Not sure if he's a reposter" for all eternity.

[–]FetchezLaVache 13 points14 points ago

Also, all the plants in the picture, except for that leaf on the lower right, which is actually the poisonous Leafsnake.

[–]gnark 6 points7 points ago

And then you get to the insects.... and the spiders.

[–]Cyberslasher -5 points-4 points ago

arachnids are still animals.

[–]Jtsunami 0 points1 point ago

terrifyingly the leaf snake is a real thing.
the brown version is poisonous vs. the green one isn't.

[–]ILoveHate 0 points1 point ago

It's fucking terrifying when you learn about how crazy plants are in Australia. I remember seeing a video about one that causes intense pain for years after exposure.

Here

I'm gonna kit my self up but not cover my hands.

[–]Danmonkey 13 points14 points ago

[–]ninjaiwarrior 13 points14 points ago

Wait-- this one has the highest karma so far? What a sad, sad world we live in, sometimes.

[–]Italian_Barrel_Roll 2 points3 points ago

That must be a safe patch.

[–]spagnitz 2 points3 points ago

[–]DeadlySphinx[S] -2 points-1 points ago

[–]CaptainHumor 0 points1 point ago

[–]gmv124 5 points6 points ago

And then there's canada. Where there are 1275 degrees below 0 that can kill you

[–]TheSupaBloopa -1 points0 points ago

That was awful.

[–]gravion17 1 point2 points ago

Thunder Dome.

[–]spagnitz 1 point2 points ago

2 men enter

[–]gravion17 2 points3 points ago

I will not stop...I will not waver...every time I see a post about Australia and the myriad ways it can DESTROY you, I simply say: Thunder Dome...for that is what Australia IS and should be re-named...will you join me in my efforts?

[–]TrollingBaron 1 point2 points ago

Mad Max films were filmed in Broken Hill, Australia. There's that....

[–]gravion17 0 points1 point ago

See??? It was meant to be...Thunder Dome.

[–]StormTheTower 0 points1 point ago

and they're all spiders.

[–]jesusapproves 0 points1 point ago

And only 200 pixels.

[–]jinsei-shiki -1 points0 points ago

Yup, it has been posted before. But, upvote anyways for the effort of originality.

[–]BrkneS 0 points1 point ago

HINT: They're all spiders.

[–]pacman983 -1 points0 points ago

Did you make it? No? Well then it has been posted before.

[–]Immadoaninternet 0 points1 point ago

I have tried to tell my friends this so many times! I don't have an "irrational fear" of Australia, merely a healthy respect for its flora and fauna.

[–]digbus 0 points1 point ago

Yes it has, countless times. Coming from a fellow Aussie

[–]gwhite4 0 points1 point ago

And 30 trees that can kill you

[–]DorkPassenger 0 points1 point ago

But... I'm not in the picture...

[–]Ebonhawk23 1 point2 points ago

75% of statistics on reddit might be made up.

[–]DeadlySphinx[S] -1 points0 points ago

Had it saved ages ago from who knows where, hadn't seen it on here though. Oh well, still amusing

[–]nickolascharles 1 point2 points ago

And I'm going there for 3 weeks. If I die, I better get some god damn karma out of it.

[–]Bigfatboy 0 points1 point ago

Bloody ausboes. A little too delicate if you as me.

[–]AndersBM 0 points1 point ago

Bullshit!! Picture dont kill people, people kill pictures with people

[–]aussie36 1 point2 points ago

As an Australian I approve this message

[–]UncleRobbie 1 point2 points ago

Why would they want to kill me in this picture?

[–]Jessicaquinn 0 points1 point ago

And they're all spiders.

[–]CABOOZE117 0 points1 point ago

Yes you are.

[–]unicornia 0 points1 point ago

I love Australia and I've always wanted to go but my boyfriend is having none of it because the over abundance of deadly creatures.

[–]iLuVtiffany 0 points1 point ago

And that makes you proud? That would freak me the fuck out.

[–]Kosard 0 points1 point ago

Even the trees are out to get you.

[–]Shouldknowbetter 0 points1 point ago

I immigrated from a different country to Australia over 20 years ago. In the last 20 years We had a snake in the living room, scorpion next to the bed one morning, poisonoues spiders inside, bushfires about 1.5 km away and I still think it is one of the safest places to live. Where we live mychildren could play play outside without stranger danger, we don't lock our doors and people around our small town are wonderfully friendly.

[–]Jamesvalencia 0 points1 point ago

Living in Australia, ruining your fun. Nothing especially deadly would be in a place like this.

[–]zero_fks_given -2 points-1 points ago

Did you make it? __|___ | | V V Yes. No | | V V OC. Repost

[–]aakaakaak -2 points-1 points ago

Yes, it's a repost. Yes it's still funny.

[–]NeomerArcana -2 points-1 points ago

IF YOU DIDN'T MAKE IT: IT IS A REPOST

[–]thorns0014 0 points1 point ago

It is a repost

[–]Fearlessleader85 0 points1 point ago

I live in Hawaii, virtually everything is safe here.

The most dangerous animals we have on land are pigs, and they're not that dangerous unless you're hunting them with a knife.

Really, the only thing to worry about is tiger sharks. Even the box jellyfish that do show up here aren't capable of killing you unless you're allergic or have other health issues.

[–]HaydenB 2 points3 points ago

YOU LIVE ON A VOLCANO.

[–]Fearlessleader85 0 points1 point ago

No i don't. Well, I live on a volcano that died out a few million years ago. I'm not on Big Island.

[–]SpinningDespina 0 points1 point ago

It's funny, one of the only animals that people are actually encouraged to attack/kill in Oz are Cane Toads. In QLD especially, its almost a family event to get a bat/golf club/big stick an go out and demolish as many of them as you can. They organise carnivals and bounties around killing the fuckers.
Some friends of mine went to Hawaii and the locals were all confused to why the Aussie kids were killing their toads.

[–]SourCreamWater -1 points0 points ago

So old...

[–]GingerET -2 points-1 points ago

And 20 of them are Chuck Norris.

[–]ShinichiKudo 0 points1 point ago

I don't know. Somehow this is the only thing australians seem to be proud of. :/

[–]PirateGloves 1 point2 points ago

Apparently Australia is only known for two things, things that kill you and racism.

Personally, I'm proud of the work the CSIRO has contributed to the global scientific community.

[–]medep 0 points1 point ago

The truth is, nothing in Australia will actually hunt you down and kill you except crocodiles, and that just means you have to be careful where you swim in the top third of the country

[–]aussie36 0 points1 point ago

And sharks...

[–]WokHunt 1 point2 points ago

1300 actually, you forgot these

[–]Wilcows 0 points1 point ago

There's an annoying spelling error in this picture.

there are 1275 animals that could kill you in this picture

That would imply that they would kill you, in this picture.

It should be

There are 1275 animals in this picture that could kill you
