My first dog was a shar pai. His name was Tike. I have a scar on my left thumb knuckle from where he bit me when I was 8 because I tried helping him out of the car. He couldn't see very well.

this is the worst breed of dog in existence, and honestly should be outlawed on temperament alone. I would highly advise anyone who sees this breed of dog to keep distance from it, no matter what your relation to it, or it's owner is.

AT BEST, when trained properly, and properly socialized, they're stand offish.
