Edit: How the hell is this question controversial? Lots of people think its oppa, people correct it to oppan, I see his screen name has oppa in it and I ask why. Doesn't seem like a strange question to me. Apparently it warrants unabashed douchetude.

mfw trying to dps on my rogue

EDIT: I like how people are downvoting but it's true. Rogue dps isn't what it was last season or any season before that. You have to be very geared to pull good dps and even then it's not the dps that other classes can pull with similar gear. I'm not bitching either, just having a laugh at my class and staying on topic with the OP.

Our rogue did 97k dps on heroic gara'jal last night. You just have some scaling problems but base gear around 480ish+ and you'll be topping meters

This article and accompanying graph from WoW Insider shows Assassination Rogues at the top of the charts, but Subtlety and Combat Rogues are way lower.

I dunno how much has changed for Rogues since those stats were taken around October 15th (as I'm concentrating on my Shaman for the time being and not really following Rogue stuff), but that chart would indicate that the people here telling you that Rogues aren't having a rough time are either Assassination Rogues or misinformed.

The thing about rogues is they scale with gear. Just compare the professionless, legendary-less sim to this one

Look at how much rogues shoot up. Just like last expansion, rogues started out worthless and ended up being the easiest way to do high dps.
