This was from a news clip saying that school officials were not allowing PB&J's to be in the classroom, because children who weren't from America would feel bad. It was a bit of sensationalism.

In reality, the school district was saying that they were no longer going to use PB&J as an example when teaching or on tests, because some kids will not be familiar with the reference and it would affect their comprehension. This concept is pretty well documented, and should be considered when teaching a diverse classroom.
