You can also jump back over too, and as long as you land on the opposite side of the finish line, you can complete a lap.

The above video is played on an emulator but you can do the same on the actual console.

The track inside the metal sphere was Wario Colosseum. This Wario Stadium is from Mario Kart 64. Waluigi Stadium on Double Dash!! looks somewhat similar to Wario Stadium though.
