Unless Jesus is intended to be a manifestation, the image portrays an anachronism: the clapping crowd are dressed as Catholic priests (Cardinals?), a group which didn't exist until 3 or 4 hundred years after his supposed life. If intended to portray an actual Jesus, they should all be dressed as Rabbis/Jewish priests of the Roman era. Guess it is intended to be symbolic of the current Church using Jesus as street theater to exploit the masses?
