It's actually my boyfriend's parent's place. We were house sitting/watching Henry. They run their own business in which they collect/sell antique furniture, artwork, knick knacks, etc and are really successful and have great taste (their apartment has been featured in a few magazines too)

      He can be very skittish. It took him a good 6+ months to get comfortable around me to the point of where he'd walk around and let me pet him (usually he hides in a closet). Now he tries to drink out of my cup (this is actually really annoying), gets in my face, and freely roams around the apartment when I'm there.

      I have one of those filtered water bowl thingies. Well, it's motor recently died. Every time I go over to the bowl, fruitlessly to see if the motor might resurrect, she runs over and stares at the fountain part. When it doesn't work, she miews, huffs, and stalks away. I get cat-told. By the way, those bowls are awesome. Yes you have to clean them and replace the filter, but geez cats go crazy for them.

      Yeah, some cats don't like any sort of "standing" water even if it's changed daily. My cat definitely prefers toilet water, but then again, she also licks her butthole, so I'm not trusting her taste.

      My boyfriend's parents requested that we leave out 3 bowls of water for Henry. Apparently the cat won't drink "dirty" water so they like to give him a couple options. The sink has a sensor so he'll drink from there from time to time also, but if anyone is drinking from a cup that's his first choice. Diva if you ask me.

      My cat used to be like this, so gave him a good sock right to the kisser. What happens is cat's are afraid of getting punched in the face, some just stress out over it wayyyy too much so my Vet reccommended just popping him and getting it over with. Once the cat realizes getting hit in the face isnt as bad as they think they relax a lot more and live much happier!
