Its clear what happened here, Batman was on vacation in England (most likely to escape Robin) and he forgot to bring his suit with him (due to Alfred quitting). As Bruce was having a nice stroll, he noticed a couple of men stealing a purse from a defenseless old lady. Thinking quickly Bruce dashed back to his hotel to look for his suit, looking for several seconds he remembers where it is, at Mrs. Yu's dry cleaning. "Well, fuck me!" He proclaims loudly. This attracts the homosexual maid to come in. By this time, Bruce is very pissed off and punches Lance in the face (Lance being the maid). Bruce runs away and finds a costume shop with a Batman costume in it. Which he then purchases and changes in a phone booth, Superman style. Arriving just in time to watch the police drag the robbers away.
