Apparently in american cars, that buckle where the metal part of the seat belt goes into is just an actual hole, so if you drop something like a penny in there, which happened to my friend, there is no way to get it out. you have to basically take out the whole seat and take out the buckle to fix it.

which is different than the car i have, an integra, where they thought about that and the slot has an actually a plastic piece that gets pushed down by the metal part of the seat belt.

it's the little things.
