I can't believe someone else knows about this picture. Years ago me and a friend would laugh at it and get hammered off of THIS. I even had a big bear shotglass. Also never knew this but it does appear to be a Real Album.

This reminds me of this one time where my friends (about 4 of us, stoned, looking like hippies, and in our early 20s) walked into a gas station and met a man who immediately commented that we looked like we were in a band. Well, we did play bass and guitar together but we kinda sucked and never wrote any songs, so he was kind of on target. "Yeah, we're in a band," we said, of course. "We play reggae music." I was wearing a Bob Marley shirt and he had indeed been learning how to play "Stir it up" together. "Coo, coo. I own a record studio. I'm a rapper. My name is Black Pooh. That's what my ma called me when I was little--she said I was her little Pooh Bear."

His name was Black Pooh. But there was kind of a sweet, cute story behind it. And he was indeed a black man. It was hard to argue with the name though. I wanted to tell him, to his face, that Black Pooh was a terrible name. But I couldn't, because it would feel like I would be disrespecting his family and his ethnicity. I hope Black Pooh has made a career for himself. Godspeed, Black Pooh.

What does this have to do with Big Bear? Not much except he's that he's not the only rapper who's poorly named himself after a bear.
