Really? I felt that the whole DBZ series built up for Gohan to replace Goku and it all culminated with Gohan's defeat of Cell.

Too bad they didn't make any more Dragonball after that ;)

Yeah it did seem that way. It was almost like they were going for that and then decided Gohan was too much of a sissy and that Goku and Vegeta should still remain the most powerful. Even during the Buu Saga when they gave him that sword it seemed like they were still going for that. And then in GT they completely annihilated any chance of Gohan making any kind of return to the spot light.

False. This is clearly Goku as a child, when he and Piccolo were enemies. The kid should have been Gohan, as Piccolo takes on a fatherly role to him, and Gohan was the one in question when his power level did, in fact, measure over 9,000 (actually they say 10,000 in the cartoon.)

There is something to be said for parents nowadays who don't shelter their kids, don't put a helmet on them every time they go outside or have to put them on a leash when they go out in public (I laugh every time I see this, and it's quite often).

It's safe to say this kid will grow up to be a well adjusted young adult and he'll have his "dads old laptop" for playing his "retro" games and will stumble upon this photo and share it with his friends and they will all say what we've all been saying in this thread.
