How to find love while being a nerdy woman: Step 1: Enroll in engineering class. Step 2: Take your pick of the litter.

[–]charizaard 457 points458 points ago

"The odds are good, but the goods are odd."

[–]Multidisciplinary 20 points21 points ago

Upvote for PHD

[–]JMGurgeh 36 points37 points ago

That predates PHD by a good several decades.

[–]TheUberDork 11 points12 points ago

Unfortunately the "pick of the litter" is still an engineer.

relevant Dilbert

[–]macetheace_ 19 points20 points ago

I'm in electrical engineering and there's no way I could date a girl from any of my classes. I need my own area of expertise. Plus it would be boring.

[–]PlasmaBurns 12 points13 points ago

That's why Purdue put in a biomedical engineering school. Most of the female engineers went over that way.

[–]kimchiwaffles 15 points16 points ago

I was a female biomedical engineering major. Our class was almost half girls. "Normal" girls too.

[–]Lecks 7 points8 points ago

Those quotation marks worry me.

[–]Androne 5 points6 points ago

Its because there is no such thing as "Normal"

[–]Wakasaki_Rocky 3 points4 points ago

[–]kurin 3 points4 points ago

I need my own area of expertise.

Huh?

[–]Jaccington 3 points4 points ago

I dunno, I'm doing a course in engineering and it's full of moronic chavvy cunts.

[–]nerdstokeuptoo 2 points3 points ago

I swear its like being a kid in a candy store. Some of them are actually very good looking.

[–]in_hell_want_water 2 points3 points ago

As a woman in STEM, those dude are too uptight for me.

[–]Curufinwes 112 points113 points ago

It's missing option number #5. Build your own.

[–]Softcorps_dn 49 points50 points ago

Also known as the Dr. Kreiger option.

[–]mgrier123 29 points30 points ago

"KRIEGER-SAN, NOOOO!"

[–]Space_Bungalow 8 points9 points ago

BUT I BUILT YOU WAIFU-SAN

[–]Ethanol_Based_Life 2 points3 points ago

6 Wait it out until you're rich.

[–]craywolf 2 points3 points ago

We gotta fill this thing up with data. We gotta make her as real as possible. I want her to live. I want her to breathe. I want her to aerobicize.

[–]in_hell_want_water 262 points263 points ago

If you need help, #2 really means: "Don't act like a condescending, know-it-all douche."

[–]scruffy01 170 points171 points ago

Welp, Reddit is fucked.

[–]Blanderman 75 points76 points ago

More accurately, Reddit is not fucked.

[–]NothingtodohereOGW 10 points11 points ago

For some reason I have you tagged as "salty breadstick penis" but I can't remember why exactly.

[–]scruffy01 44 points45 points ago

I know at some point I said I don't like Olive Garden's breadsticks because I prefer some bread with my salt.

The penis, I am just going to assume you fantasize about my penis. Thanks.

[–]Sedentes 6 points7 points ago

I wasn't before, but I am now.

[–]Engineer3227 12 points13 points ago

I like to throw out references to thermodynamics during every day affairs. Do you think that might be a put off around girls?

[–]LtCthulhu 24 points25 points ago

I dunno, I think it might make things rather...

hot n' steamy.

[–]Androne 4 points5 points ago

Depends. My girlfriend doesn't mind me saying stuff like that and personally I wouldn't want to date someone who would frown at me for saying things like that either. Why live your life in a cage?

[–]willscy 4 points5 points ago

yes.

[–]miakia86 1 point2 points ago

Yes.

[–]SamEdge 33 points34 points ago

As a female who majored in engineering, this reason is exactly why I was turned off to a lot of dudes in my classes. As a result of observing so much of this attitude I tried not to act like a "condescending, know-it-all douche" even though I was oftentimes a raving cunt in my head... silently judging on my high horse of douchebaggery.

[–]Manwichs 25 points26 points ago

One of us, one of us...

[–]Lecks 29 points30 points ago

But #2 clearly says to act like a liberal arts major.

[–]pjgamer77 1 point2 points ago

Seriously though, I am a business student myself. I can get along with science students, but some of them are unbearable. It isn't a jealousy thing, they just think they are better than everyone. While I appreciate their intelligence, grow up.

[–]tamarawilhite 93 points94 points ago

No wonder my now-husband took me around the computer labs and introduced me to all his friends in college. "I'm an engineer, and I've got a girlfriend, and she's in engineering, too!" It wasn't "showing commitment by introducing me to his friends. It was showing off a trophy, or demonstrating that he won the equivalent to the lottery.

[–]bben86 84 points85 points ago

It was also more sanitary than marking you with urine.

[–]Arizhel 17 points18 points ago

BS. Urine is sterile. Computer keyboards are famous for collecting lots of nasty bacteria.

[–]Skizot_Bizot 4 points5 points ago

Sterile... and sexy :)

Oh god just kidding please don't pee on me!

[–]zefafrican 11 points12 points ago

You never know, the money he won in that bet could have in part paid for the engagement ring.

[–]mutecow 16 points17 points ago

wow, your husband is gonna be confused when he is left sleeping on the couch tonight.

"the fuck did i do to piss her off??"

[–]hydrospanner 12 points13 points ago

You didn't pee on her, you insensitive jerk!

[–]Pterasaur 5 points6 points ago

i don't understand this! i"m in nursing, and there are no men, and the course load is so heavy none of us have lives, AND YET we all have boyfriends. many have boyfriends in engineering. am i wrong to think this problem is A:being exaggerated B: not exclusive to engineering and C: best solved by visiting the college of nursing in one's university early and often if one is an engineer?

[–]ed1380 5 points6 points ago

Sounds about right.

[–]LeCrushinator 19 points20 points ago

Option #1 saved my ass, I'm too busy programming all damn day now to have time to find anyone if I were still single.

[–]ed1380 5 points6 points ago

Another vote for #1. Started dating the week before I graduated from high school

[–]nerdstokeuptoo 3 points4 points ago

I tried that. It didn't work out.

[–]Rexono 14 points15 points ago

[–]Maerwynn 37 points38 points ago

5: Move to Sweden. Girls here love engineers. The building engineers at my school always get laid.

[–]cereal3 57 points58 points ago

Fucking hell how much better does Sweden have to get

[–]YourAverageWalrus 28 points29 points ago

Sweden is probably reddit's overall favorite country. It's got women, women who love engineers, great views, and cold weather so introversion wouldn't be bad for an outsider.

[–]idk112345 31 points32 points ago

and when all the nerdy socially completely inept neckbeard engineers step out of the plane upon arrival in sweden and realize those gorgeous blond sweedes don't flock to them they go on reddit and complain about the friendzone

here's a protip: Girls don't dislike you because you are studying engineering...they dislike you because you probably suck

[–]Arizhel 3 points4 points ago

Sweden, like most first-world countries, probably has very challenging immigration requirements. You can't just go move there on a whim.

[–]pmoiab 20 points21 points ago

3 Doesn't work for me. There are no women in my class, though there is a feminine man.

[–]Lecks 30 points31 points ago

Beggars can't be choosers.

[–]Kashima 10 points11 points ago

sounds like prison.

[–]Arizhel 3 points4 points ago

3 is total BS. I've never heard of an engineering class with 4 women. 2 is the most I ever saw in a single class, usually it was 1 or 0.

[–]Legosheep 15 points16 points ago

Option 5: Be gay

[–]korobatsu 6 points7 points ago

Been there, done that, slept with the other two gay guys in my class.

[–]Arizhel 1 point2 points ago

Sorry, that won't work either, because there's probably even fewer gay guys in engineering than there are women in it. You'll still have to go take a bunch of liberal arts classes to meet a lover.

[–]goodguygaymer 3 points4 points ago

I would like to beg to differ from personal experience.

[–]lydocia 61 points62 points ago

What the fuck is up with "hope she's not too nerdy"?

You expect women to fall for you and your nerdiness, but expect them not to be nerdy at all?

[–]carbonnanotube 44 points45 points ago

This just in: "You can be in engineering and not be a socially inept nerd!"

[–]lydocia 29 points30 points ago

... and other stories, in "Great Fables From The Internet".

[–]mrbooze 8 points9 points ago

This also just in: If you're a male engineer unwilling to lower yourself to date "nerdy women", then you don't deserve any women, nerdy or otherwise.

[–]Brisco_County_III 13 points14 points ago

Seriously, what the hell? If he means that as shorthand for completely socially incompetent, I guess that might kind of make sense, but come on. She's going to be putting up with nerdosity, nerds are the best equipped and most willing to do so.

[–]ed1380 9 points10 points ago

Too nerdy probably means the fat WOW type

[–]Bumblebree 42 points43 points ago

There are plenty of women who like their men smart. You just have to make sure you have good hygiene and can hold a conversation on things other than your major.

[–]Pomnom 20 points21 points ago

can hold a conversation on things other than your major

By stepping into the Enginneer Dept Hall, you have forfeit your right to do this.

[–]IdleGod 4 points5 points ago

Thats pretty universal advice, really. Nobody want's to be around someone who hasn't figured out bathing by the time they hit college...

And its not just engineers that have serious difficulty holding conversations outside of their chosen field; a lot of liberal arts students have that same affliction. I knew a guy who was a commercial pilot; talking to him about anything other than aviation led right back to aviation. I'm not one for stunning conversation, but god damn man, find a hobby... No, not a hobby in aviation. No, not a hobby studying the history of aviation. No, just forget it.

[–]scoobyduped 3 points4 points ago

See, my problem is I can't hold a conversation about anything.

[–]IAmElizabethMarie 94 points95 points ago

This is from Survingtheworld.net Please don't rehost his content. The author has said many times how much he dislikes it when websites like reddit steal his content.

[–]DanteShepherd 3 points4 points ago

Much thanks. Greatly appreciated.

[–]Darktidemage -1 points0 points ago

Survivingthenet

If you really care about your content being stolen you are gonna have a bad time.

[–]Ivy93 10 points11 points ago

Fuck off, Reddit bitches and whines everytime someone lifts a comic from websites like Explosm or Ctrl+Alt+Del.

[–]lilmagpie 3 points4 points ago

Girls throw themselves at engineering students at my university because they know they will make a good living when they graduate. If you're an engineer or a doctor, usually you get your pick of the litter.

[–]thatwasntababyruth 5 points6 points ago

Ah yes, the golddigger strategy.

[–]BillsInATL 6 points7 points ago

Option #5: Focus on yourself for now. Get your education and a job and become an established adult male. Acquire a house and save some money. You will be amazed at how that can attract women. Then at about 30 years old, start slaying as much tail as you can. You dont need to have everything solved by 22.

[–]brelkor 2 points3 points ago

This. Remember, as a guy, your inherent value as a mate only rises with age.

[–]Arizhel 2 points3 points ago

By the time you're in your 30s and have that house and money, you will indeed have women crawling over each other to get to you. The problem, however, is that they're all divorced with kids, and they're absolutely desperate to find a new man to take care of them and their kids. You want some kids of your own? Sorry, but she's already had all the kids she wants, with some other jerk that she has to argue with constantly over custody and visitation issues, so she doesn't want any more kids with you.

[–]jaico 4 points5 points ago

Thank you debbie.

[–]Tollaneer 2 points3 points ago

I'm in Eastern Europe. What now?

[–]pandabrah 12 points13 points ago

Are engineers in America not allowed to socialise with non-engineers or something?

Being an engineer is no excuse to not get girls.

Source- I'm an engineer

I feel may have taken a joke about stereotypes to seriously.

[–]kkyqqp 3 points4 points ago

Potential sociability as an engineer/sci is inversely proportional to the difficulty of your school. At a top 20 school the intense workload doesn't allow for many non-school activities, and you spend more time around people in your program working and studying instead of socializing with people for non work related reasons. It's possible to be an engineer and very social, but as you go to the top it becomes a lot harder. The difference between a typical personality of an MIT engineer and a state college one is very large.

[–]FleetAdmiralFader 2 points3 points ago

This isn't quite true. I go to a top 10 engineering school but still have the ability to go out and party every night if I want to. Sure there are times where I disappear into my room for a day or two to study but overall I have plenty of time. Furthermore if I actually studied every day like a lot of people do I wouldn't have to spend 12 hours studying before tests.

I only know 1 engineer who is rarely able to hang out because he's swamped with work.

[–]ballut 0 points1 point ago

This whole thread is full of college seniors trying to rationalize why they are still virgins.

[–]Bamfarts 6 points7 points ago

I know it is supposed to be funny but I have never encountered this IRL. Most of the engineers I know are funny and outgoing, not the socially-awkward and oblivious tools that reddit makes them out to be.

[–]fitshace 9 points10 points ago

I would like to quote the mighty Ron Swanson on this one:

"1. Be a man"

Some people might not believe this, but you can actually be a real engineer without being socially awkward.

[–]zanewt 6 points7 points ago

haha "97%" of reddit is going to find this funny since we are all engineering students right!!!

[–]stniesen 2 points3 points ago

I am.

[–]downvoted_by_lefties 3 points4 points ago

5: Get an engineering job. Wait until you're in your high twenties. Watch women flock to you.

[–]RealityRush 5 points6 points ago

As someone in this position, I can promise you that doesn't always work.

[–]ninefinger117 2 points3 points ago

I did option #1 but it's long distance and that's still better than trying to date the girls here at school

[–]detroitdoesntsuckbad 2 points3 points ago

Or just get a good job, make a lot of money and be normal.

/MSEE

[–]JustZisGuy 2 points3 points ago

[–]fanwriter91 2 points3 points ago

Worked for me! I got mine before he went into engineering. =D

[–]whatwhywhy 2 points3 points ago

option 5: go to Asia

[–]pacified69 0 points1 point ago

5 - Take a women studies class.

[–]authorless 0 points1 point ago

Shit. Give me the nerdy girl.

[–]Evilmadness66 0 points1 point ago

Idea 1 / 3 didn't work

[–]Chronomath 1 point2 points ago

Yes! Option 1 is still going strong ^

[–]canneddirt 1 point2 points ago

I went for Option #1. Easiest by far.

[–]DaMegaphone 1 point2 points ago

First three failed so I'm going with the fourth option. Should be here by novemeber.

[–]CuntHunt -1 points0 points ago

Option 4 doesn't really work that well anymore as Eastern Europe is getting quite wealthy.

[–]Multidisciplinary 0 points1 point ago

Don't be SAP. Don't be all about what you've studied. Job /= personality.

[–]SchlapHappy 0 points1 point ago

I liked my university because the engineering building was actually connected to the business building so you could always talk up the girls there.

[–]Maerig 0 points1 point ago

There still is this option.

[–]CosmicZephyr 1 point2 points ago

He wants to make sure engineers keep breeding. The world needs more tough thinkers!!!

[–]Im_Not_Black 1 point2 points ago

Option 4.

[–]JackyWalnuts 0 points1 point ago

Whenever I see this dude I can't help but think I'd enjoy his content more if he weren't standing like a goon at the side of every single shot with his Red Sox hat and blank stare.

[–]BoneZonez 0 points1 point ago

I used option 1

[–]of_terrys_crew 0 points1 point ago

Option 2 baby! All the sports-science classes I could take!

[–]megasin1 0 points1 point ago

Met mine at a local cosplay event. Real tip: go out and do stuff youre interested in and youll meet people who share your intetests

[–]yasisterstwat -1 points0 points ago

Not only do engineering students have a hard time getting girls but they're never funny. Ever.

[–]Elocater 1 point2 points ago

What if i live in Eastern Europe, yet married a girl from my University group (we are both automation engineers)? Which option is that?

[–]Mr_E_Penguin 1 point2 points ago

This should have been a flow chart

[–]duckandcover 0 points1 point ago

2,4,3,1

[–]texasgirl93 -1 points0 points ago

I wonder if this works for girls too >.< ugh

[–]LurkIMYourFather 0 points1 point ago

well #3 worked for me :)

[–]nonpc 0 points1 point ago

Only two of them in my group! Uhhhh!

[–]tattarrattattat 1 point2 points ago

Option #5: turn gay?

[–]mike1343 0 points1 point ago

My dad did #1 xD it works

[–]wumbologyphd 0 points1 point ago

mail order it is

[–]treerex 0 points1 point ago

Option 2a: Be well rounded enough to be able to seduce a Liberal Arts major.

Worked for me.

[–]martiancyclone 0 points1 point ago

Or study engineering in India, especially computer engineering. All computer engineers look dressed up here. Maybe they got into it for the love of American dollars. Can't vouch for their skills or passion.

[–]mynameisbacon 0 points1 point ago

ewww his name is dante? that makes this even worse. nice hat.

[–]nevermindthegames 0 points1 point ago

Engineers who shower and actually converse with me would be great! Why are you engineers scared to approach a hot girl?

[–]Thor4269 0 points1 point ago

That guy reminds me of my best friend that died last august :( I love and hate these pics

[–]ASlinkitySound 0 points1 point ago

Option #5: Find a nursing student.

[–]pole_dancer 0 points1 point ago

Haha I graduated with an engineering degree and this is hilarious. I got hit on constantly and am actually still dating a guy I had classes with.

[–]James442 0 points1 point ago

Since when do you have to go to college to drive trains? Insanity.

[–]DudeMan81 0 points1 point ago

Move to Calgary. Engineers think they rule the universe and are gods gift to women in that town.

[–]Kevvo16 0 points1 point ago

...Four? o_0

[–]Kritter2490 0 points1 point ago

As a physics/engineering grad... there is truth to this

[–]tomjenks1 0 points1 point ago

my engineering class was over 50% women

[–]Rand0m_Viking 0 points1 point ago

What the hell is too nerdy? That's like saying too attractive

[–]Amant 1 point2 points ago

I am a mechanical engineering student. At my university we have the largest department in the college of engineering, but the lowest percentage of women. How do I fix this problem? I take Chemistry and Biology classes.

[–]Androne 1 point2 points ago

5: Stop pretending that you can't find a girl like a normal person.

I went to school for engineering and so did pretty much all of my friends. None of them had a hard time finding a girlfriend.

[–]mnighm 0 points1 point ago

As a thirty something single engineer I must say I am getting far more action than I did in college. The problem I have now is trying to weed through the ones that are just after someone who can afford to take care of them for the ones that are actually interested in me.

[–]jimm_monster 0 points1 point ago

You don't know how funny this is to me, being a female student engineer who's been single for 5 years!

[–]Matchman08 0 points1 point ago

This also applies to those in computer science unfortunately....

[–]rodentjoe 1 point2 points ago

What's with this "hope she's not too nerdy" crap?

[–]analogkid01 0 points1 point ago

I once worked for a lousy training company in Chelmsford MA...the owner had a wife from the Philippines. I asked him once how they met, and he said "Well, we initially met through the mail..." That was all I ever heard (or wanted to hear) of that story.

[–]callmesuspect 1 point2 points ago

Hope she isn't too nerdy

Why the fuck would I want to date someone that isn't nerdy.

[–]Sedentes 0 points1 point ago

Number 6: Be gay and have your pick of sexual frustrated college aged men.

[–]cosmicomet03 0 points1 point ago

I don't get why engineers and women don't combine. Engineers are smart, motivated, and inventive. Computer science, now that is a field I find perplexing, or maybe people who major in Math. But that can get kind of fun in a nerdy kind of way.

Whatever, if someone doesn't like you based on your major, they are a douche. STEM degrees are a major turn on in my book. I love a man who can think and isn't necessarily motivated by money and prestige (AKA: business degrees). The quest for knowledge and invention reign supreme in my vag.

[–]theshinnmaster92 0 points1 point ago

The amount of truth in this post hurts my loins...

[–]FapDat 0 points1 point ago

As a computer science major all of this is accurate for us except #3 should say: "Grab on to the only woman in you computer science class and realize that's probably the best you can do"

[–]vanilllaa 0 points1 point ago

how could Eastern Europe go on 4th, that's num 1 option. Why? Because in Eastern Europe Engineering classes are equal in male and female students. You may also enroll here but I don't promise you could actually learn something,... or anything

[–]Yogurt_Huevos 0 points1 point ago

I guess I screwed as a physics and math major....

[–]Tranger 0 points1 point ago

You can always try plan B:

Turn gay.

[–]SaltFrog 0 points1 point ago

I'd love an engineer boyfriend. Man.

[–]6roybatty6 0 points1 point ago

Option 5: wait until you're making good money after college, working for a tech giant, and meet someone awesome. Fall in love, get married (or as close to it as your local jurisdiction will allow, if you're gay) and live happily, and as nerdily as you care to, ever after.

At least, that's how it worked for me.

[–]treay61 1 point2 points ago

Option 5: Engineer the perfect woman

[–]Balrog_Forcekin 0 points1 point ago

Why would you hope she isn't too nerdy? I love nerdy girls.

[–]undeadgoat 0 points1 point ago

Might I suggest trying to meet girls in mostly-female majors? Nerds can and do study e.g. design.

[–]Bruneti12 0 points1 point ago

hahaha "four women".

[–]DCdictator 0 points1 point ago

you omitted: "be able to get a good job with a high and stable salary then take your pick of all the women who majored in a liberal art or science that isn't math."

[–]K3TtLek0Rn 0 points1 point ago

This guy is not funny.

[–]HoldingTheFire 1 point2 points ago

Another day, another misogynistic thread on reddit.

[–]sammyboy0120 0 points1 point ago

I don't think it's nearly as bad as people make it out to be anymore. I'm a chemical engineering major, and not only are significant portions (~40-50%) of my engineering classmates girls, but many are also hot (as in legitimately hot, not 'hot for an engineering major'). Maybe the other branches have it worse, but I think it's becoming more of a pop culture thing than a reality thing (for reference, I go to Ohio University, not some uber expensive college that would go fr out of it's way to give this impression).

[–]kenvsryu 0 points1 point ago

I shouldve banged more #3s.

[–]cycophuk 0 points1 point ago

I don't get why #4 has to be such a bad thing. There are some really beautiful Eastern European women out there.

[–]TheBurningHeart 0 points1 point ago

Option 3...get on my level.

[–]IAmDisappeared 0 points1 point ago

I am an engineering student and took option 3. All I can say is don't do it, we dated for the two years and broke up. She has been with another classmate for the last 8 months. It is not fun.

[–]kj01a 0 points1 point ago

Too nerdy?? I don't understand.

[–]sandbox01 0 points1 point ago

I'm so sick of this rumor! Im an Architect student and would love to meet an engineer student as well as all the other thirty single girls in my class!

[–]Lemonwizard 0 points1 point ago

This picture lost me when its advice suggested male engineering students should hope for girls to NOT be nerdy.

[–]Seasok 0 points1 point ago

Environmental engineering FTW! Such a good ratio.

[–]drunctioning_funk 0 points1 point ago

Since when was engineering a nerdy subject? Geology, now there's a class full of freaks.

[–]Tim_Buk2 0 points1 point ago

I did option 3 and when that didn't work, followed with option 2. So far (17 years) so good.

[–]Purple_Haze 0 points1 point ago

At my local engineering school the answer is: walk across the street to the nursing school, they have the exact problem in mirror image.

[–]Gregoff 0 points1 point ago

Ahum... there is a 5th option... if you are willing...enough...

Just watch the movie Weird Science

[–]rhayward 0 points1 point ago

Sounds about right.

[–]scoobythebeast 0 points1 point ago

Wait, hold on now. Option 3, hope she's not too nerdy? I wasn't aware there was such a thing as a too nerdy girl.

You.. You are the same guy who had the chalkboard and the hat and the beard and it said "Science: Magic without the lies"

[–]bleedthenutshell 0 points1 point ago

I have always wondered who this guy is and why he likes chalkboards so much.

Engineering Grad here. The solution is simple. Socialize.

[–]SilentTheTyrant 0 points1 point ago

My engineering class consists of about 70 guys and 40 girls. Lots of people have glasses. The teachers suck dicks all day. My public high school teachers were three times better than any professor I have had so far in terms of teaching. In terms of knowledge my professors know more but they can't teach for shit.

Dear Loveless Engineering Student,

I am a tall, natural blonde, blue eyes woman with a D-cup. I am also an arts student who will probably work retail her entire life.

Will you marry me?

Sincerely,

Moneyless

[–]worldisorder 0 points1 point ago

Or marry a science major like me!!! FOR SCIENCE!!!

Option #5: Hook up with random chicks at bars and such until you've graduated and make a 6 figure salary. Life get's much easier when you're successful and not a broke student.

[–]indoobitably 0 points1 point ago

I'm pretty sure the few "chicks" in my engineering class were very feminine looking, long haired men....

[–]Orestes910 1 point2 points ago

Just wait until you graduate. Women will surely want to join you in your bed made of money.

[–]bibiane 0 points1 point ago

5 make over $80000 yearly and call me (prefer over 6 ft, but anything is acceptable

[–]JamesEatWorld 0 points1 point ago

Option 5: build one.

[–]Sure_lll_Eat_That 0 points1 point ago

Or be damn good looking in a suit.

What #2 really means is don't be a stereotype. By the way, 33% of the S&P 500 CEOs' undergraduate degrees are in engineering and only 11% are in business administration.

[–]mhenr18 0 points1 point ago

That's really odd, considering that probably 50% of the undergrads in my core engineering subjects are women.

Of course, my software subjects are a massive cockfest.

[–]entstructor 0 points1 point ago

I'll start next year, so i guess thanks for the heads up ;)

[–]QGB391 1 point2 points ago

As a female engineering major, please don't 'grab' onto us.

[–]NoSleepForMeEVER 0 points1 point ago

What's wrong with dating an engineer? Personally, I like guys smarter than I am because they can teach me new things.(:

[–]trapped_in_jonhamm 0 points1 point ago

I have never understood this web "comic". He writes stuff down on a chalkboard and stands next to it. What makes this funnier than plain black text typed on a white background?

[–]BlazeFlame 0 points1 point ago

Psh. I'm a gay engineer. I tell them I can make an awesome custom dildo. I have my pick of the bunch.

[–]t0mn0mn0m 1 point2 points ago

I was really hoping this was genuine advice. Maths is my only companion

[–]danmayzing 0 points1 point ago

I went to an engineering school in Rolla, MO and back in my day we said "Yeah man, Rolla has a ton of chicks... problem is that there are only five of them."

Lower your standards, import (LDR), or just beat it like the rest of us until you graduate and get your nice high-paying career.
