Thats just pure raw incompetence... o_O

[–]Astro_oCat 7 points8 points ago

it is, youd be surprised on how many games actually do this lol

^ This. Lots of companies copy EULAs, since they're basically pretty cookie-cutter and it saves you the trouble and expense of hiring a lawyer.

Always funny to see one where they didn't Find>Replace correctly, though.

[–]poeticmatter 3 points4 points ago

They could, you know, actually read through it.

[–]Augzodia 1 point2 points ago

Someone didn't want to hire any lawyers

[–]Ogofo 0 points1 point ago

Someone might get some problems with riot for copying there stuff ^ That might cost more then the laywer would have done ;)

[–]Sp1n_Kuro 30 points31 points ago

They really copied the LoL EULA?

[–]Patatik[S] 59 points60 points ago

Copying is just their style.

[–]larsdragl 11 points12 points ago

they didn't even bother copying it

[–]daaznrichard 43 points44 points ago

did you find this by reading the EULA? good man

Your title makes it.seem like League was in the wrong. :0

[–]BelievesInGod -1 points0 points ago

The league is never wrong, shame on you for thinking that.

[–]JohnDeere[JohnDizzle] (NA) 9 points10 points ago

God this game is shit.

[–]freddyching 0 points1 point ago

can you sue them for that?

[–]bulbasaurz[bulbasaurz] (NA) 2 points3 points ago

was kinda of upset like alot of people when WarZ was announced as it seemed a pure knockoff of dayZ, got exited when they showed the pax footage as it showed a very refined engine that looked like dayz should have been

but man this studio has zero fucking credibility and this definately means i wont waste my time with this game and just wait for dayz standalone

[–]larsdragl 1 point2 points ago

riot must be able to screw them over hardcore, by changing the EULA just a little bit

[–]herticalt 1 point2 points ago

A game ripping off Rocket's DayZ mod rips off another companies legal agreement. Color me surprised.

I color you... blue
