It's a pity that the city can't afford to create a four-way stop at that intersection. It costs $41-100 US for one stop sign and $5 US for a can of spray paint. Developing nations don't implement driving laws or road infrastructure mainly because of the costs of construction, education, and maintenance. India has a average GDP of $1,406 US (per year)

Here's a link to a video on Indian Traffic. It's literally lawless, I find it amazing they don't have constant pile-ups. Maybe they do.

I was in India and almost got hit by one of these "buses". I was waiting an hour to cross the street and finally said fuck it I'm going. Asshole drivers don't stop for people but they'll stop for cows. I literally had to run down the median for my damn life. I'm pretty sure if I didn't start running I would've been killed. The drive from Mumbai to Goa and back is something I'll never forget. Life and traffic in India is a kind of controlled chaos.

Believe me, I'd move too. I jump out of the way of bees that are coming too close. I'd certainly run at the site of the truck. Fail videos have taught me that a lot of people freeze though.
