I understand this sentiment and to a degree I support it. It think it's more that it made it to the front page less than a month ago. Wait 3-6 months before reposting (I understand the OP didn't realize). Give the bulk of reddit a chance to forget, so we can chuckle again, instead of going "didn't I just see this? Why isn't that link purple?". Sure, Reddit gets new users and some people missed it the first (or 15th) time around, so reposts are fine in that sense. Just give it some time for most of us to forget about it.

I'm currently using my cellular device and I saw a picture I thought was funny, I thought that Strawbs was a really funny word that they used in the comic and if it is true that the OP of the original used the same title its by a complete coincidence.
