I'm somone who enjoys dark humor just as much as the next guy, but this makes me sick. You all need to grow up.

We see dead animals alongside the road so often that we become numb to the fact that it is our own kind who is killing them. We came into their habitat and because they don't know better, they run out into the road and we hit them. Yeah, you can sit back and say, "well, it's their own damn fault for being so stupid" (I know you're thinking of some arrogant excuse like that right now).

The other day, my friend and I were driving down a dark road and she thought she saw two raccoons run across the street, but to me, it looked like the one in the middle of the road was dead.

3 hours later, we were driving back and the same raccoons were in the street. Yep, the one in the middle of the road was dead and the other one kept running out to it. For at least 3 hours. The other one probably ended up getting hit too.
