                    It was a season opener if I remember correctly, can't remember what season but it was when they planted seeds to grow and make gasoline out of it, but James "bought the wrong seeds" and they ended up with diesel. So they took all the diesel and got a diesel BMW and joined a 24hr race at either Donnignton or Silverstone can't exactly remember, it was probably Silverstone, in order to burn up the fuel.

                              I'm an AD at a tiny ad agency. Trust me, this is an innocent oversight. No heads will roll.

                              The DTP or design guy responsible for designing the coating of the van overlooked the fact that this door would swing back this far, or didn't consider the sliding door at all.

                              Usually these designs are made on a wireframe template of the car model, so that gaps between doors and panels are considered in the design. Most commonly these designs are made or adjusted by DTP guy at the printing facility, who are contracted by an ad agency, who are contracted by the brand managers of the brand in question.

                              In the case of Starbucks, a company known for it's informal, relaxed work environment and level headed CEO directing the whole bunch, I doubt there would be career-ending ramifications for this little oversight. However, If this unfortunate mistake is present on a whole fleet of vans, they probably will or have recoated the vans.

                              Whatever may be, Starbucks have such a positive reputation, I doubt this picture will do anything other than make you like the brand even more, for it's silly misspelling on a van. :)

                                      As someone who recently took a roadtrip, Starbucks was a life saver for WiFi and clean, private bathrooms. Coffee brewing quality varies from store to store, and price is a bit much, but I hate MD's because their food literally makes me sick.

                                      it's actually regarded as pretty decent coffee. The sharpness found in coffee is a pretty standard indicator of freshness. Coffee blands quickly when the beans sit for too long.

Every day on my way to work at the paper shelter I would see Starbucks tending his wounds in the street.                                           Maybe, but here's the deal: anytime I go into a Starbucks I know I'm going to get prompt and professional service that will have me out the door with my cup of relatively decent coffee in less than five minutes. While I want to support Starbuck's local competitors, most of them don't even come close to delivering the same quality of service and product on a predictable basis. I go into a locally-owned Stumptown Roasters, for example, and what I get is slow service, mediocre coffee and I'm lucky to get out of there in under ten minutes even though all I want is a regular drip-coffee with room for cream.

                                          Peet's is the great exception. I go into a Peet's and I get better service and better coffee than what I would get at a Starbucks, and that's great and all, but Peet's are hard to find in my part of the world whereas Starbucks exists on nearly every other corner.

                                          Starbucks gets a bad rap because of the overpriced froufrou drinks the hipsters get. Thanks to Reddit, I now pay about two bucks for "a large bold with some room" and get a strong (but not bitter/burnt-tasting) cup of coffee into which I can put the "sugar in the raw" packets and some half and half.

                                          That little defense of Starbucks having been given, if you want a GREAT cup of coffee, try Peet's, especially their Major Dickason's Blend.

                                          In junior high school, the PE class was out jogging around the school. My friends and I rounded the corner to find the The Grass Man had come by the school to take care of some grounds keeping things, and the back doors of his van were open. Naturally, the seam split the words to say "Ass Man" in giant red letters on the open door facing us--and, being in junior high, this was the funniest thing in the world. Add to that the fact that the [Gr]ass Man was also the mayor of our town at the time, and baby, you've got a stew goin'.
