i exaggerated the title, but yes, it was real. Wish I still had the link, but on the frontpage of /r/lifeprotips was something like "have an extra car that you aren't using? use the seatbelts for a stylish key hanger!"

That would actually be pretty funny if the spout was bigger on the coffee pot...

It'd be dark enough where you might not see the hotdogs until you accidentally poured one into your mug (but it would probably be stained dark brown)
