Jesus christ, why is braiding your own hair so hard? It takes me forever to get just one little braid done, and by then I'm so goddamn frustrated and it's pointing in a weird direction and I just want a hairdresser to make my hair look awesome every morning.

oh god i'm not alone! normally i'm alright at doing eyemakeup, but smokey eye looks always end up in 'fuck it, i'm just gonna cover this up with a solid grey' -.- maybe one day ... shakes fist

Ugh I must have tried half a dozen times to do it and I just look like someone punched me in the eye. I don't wear a lot of make up usually but Ive looked up numerous diagrams and how tos and i understand HOW to do it but it just never looks right. It looks like a hot mess. When you discover the trick PLEASE let me know. Lol

I experience this all the time.

The only thing I want out my hair (which I am attempting to grow out) is to be able to braid my own hair.

I'm 27 and I just learned to French braid my own hair last year. It was sad that I was so excited. I rarely ever so it though because my arms get so tired that it takes me almost 10 minutes to finish.

I have thick long hair and very small hands. Apparently fingers can actually go missing in hair. So braiding does not work for me.
