My dog will either work her way under the blanket, or if she can't find an opening she will cry. and cry. and cry. Even if she is on a separate floor, until someone goes into the room, picks the blanket up, and lets her work her way under.

The only way I can get my dogs to go outside when it's raining is on a walk. They refuse to go outside if it's raining because their paws will get wet, but the second a leash comes out they're down to walk for hours come hell or high water.

My rat did this one time with my husband's cousin's shirt. You see we got a new cage for my rat not even thinking that the grate on the bottom was not what he was used to and more uncomfortable (even with bedding). Anyway the cousin spent the night and the next day could not find his shirt. We finally found it, torn up into a little nest in the cage with our rat sleeping soundly on top of it. He had pulled it completely through the cage. Some of it was still left hanging out of the cage. He was a smart little fucker. RIP Hamish.
