I was just thinking this. The ratings should be reversed. But, America is afraid of titties and totally cool with watching real death on tv.

Case in point: Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" was a national scandal. Guy committing suicide on live tv the other day on Fox: no biggie.

Counterpoint: the suicide wasn't a national scandal because it didn't happen during the most watched television event of the year. I guarantee if some nobody pulled her boob out on the local evening news before they could cut away, it wouldn't be a big deal.

It was a live feed of a police chase, and the suspect ran from the police in the middle of his field and shot himself in the head. It wasn't exceptionally bloody, but it was disturbing. The host and crew tried to get it off in time, but they couldn't

The URL for the actual article is "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big_C_(TV_series)" which has a parenthesis at the end of it, if I do the normal reddit link to The Big C) it uses the first parenthesis to close the link, so it links to "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big_C_(TV_series" if you can tell me how to fix it, i'd appreciate it, but it was not out of laziness.

The "English" comment came from half way down the page

She befriends Andrea, a mouthy student in her summer English class.

I couldn't find any other mention of her mention of what she taught in the show. Is that an adequate explanation?
