Looks more like backtracking to me.

[–]RileyTrodd 32 points33 points ago

Not sure if idiot, or just attention deprived skank.

[–]Diabolical_Intention 16 points17 points ago

Why not both?

[–]elizabethshort 13 points14 points ago

Those are not mutually exclusive.

[–]tillicum 3 points4 points ago

idiotic attention deprived skank

[–]newfag2012 1 point2 points ago

This is a repost, spelling error in the title, OP is either trolling or a faggot.

[–]D00mFighteR 1 point2 points ago

Why not both?

[–]clyde_taurus 3 points4 points ago

I know. Who would ever fuck a bitch like this?

[–]mewhaku 19 points20 points ago

That isn't what feminism is and all I can say I hope that's a troll. This woman is horrid.

[–]Annarr 13 points14 points ago

She's a women, guise.

[–]tillicum 4 points5 points ago

No, she's a womyn.

[–]mewhaku 1 point2 points ago

Lol.

[–]specialkake 36 points37 points ago

Definitely a troll/fake. Plus, "woman."

[–]HaloWarLord711 6 points7 points ago

I'm just gonna try and convince myself this is trolling

[–]Not_A_Triceratops 4 points5 points ago

It is. Pro-circumcission people will deny till the end of days that circumcision decreases sexual pleasure, despite all the evidence that says it does.

[–]Jorion 5 points6 points ago

sex feels pretty damn awesome to me. i cant even imagine how good it must feel with extra foreskin!

[–]Honey-Badger 2 points3 points ago

pretty fucking great, as does masturbation.

[–]anoano 2 points3 points ago

well I was circumcised as a baby so I guess I'll never know for sure. Also, if you still have your foreskin how do you know how it feels without it?

[–]reefshadow 2 points3 points ago

Because it can be retracted.

[–]aTm2012 1 point2 points ago

I don't think I need any more sensations helping to speed up the process....

[–]SmithSith 2 points3 points ago

feminist...I don't think that means what you think it means...

[–]anoano 1 point2 points ago

There's a difference between fighting for women's rights and hating males

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points ago

Circumcision takes away sexual pleasure? Well fuck.

[–]Arquis001 12 points13 points ago

Turns out there are nerves on that skin.

[–]3019605275 9 points10 points ago

i've had a friend who tore his foreskin and had to get an emergency circumcision. He says he didn't notice a difference

[–]JaronK 2 points3 points ago

After all the reddit talk about how horrible circumcision was, I decided to go check. I found a few guys who got the procedure later in life (due to accidents) and all of them said the same thing: super high sensitivity for about 6 months, then it returned to normal. No overall change.

Then I checked studies on the topic. A few say sensitivity goes up a little. A few say it goes down a little. Most say there's no change.

So as far as I can tell, all that stuff about it reducing sensitivity is just BS, along with all the other BS reddit seems to love about circumcision (it shrinks your penis, makes it impossible to jack off without lube, there are 20000 nerves in the foreskin despite the fact that there are only 4000 in the whole penis, and so on and so forth).

[–]Nighshade586 1 point2 points ago

Man, I NEVER use lube, (except with Fleshlight) I've never had a problem.

[–]lolrsk8s_2 5 points6 points ago

herewegoagain.tiff

[–]enemy_anemone -5 points-4 points ago

Unfortunately it does. Circumcision should not be permitted unless absolutely necessary for medical reasons, or as something that an adult chooses to have done once they reach the legal age of adulthood. The circumcision of infant males is nothing less than mutilation and should, imho, be a crime.

[–]scootypuffjr33 0 points1 point ago

Holy shit, I didn't know that because I was circumcised my parents are criminals. Is there seriously any man that has grown up and at one point been like, "What the fuck mom?!? How could you do that to me!"

[–]enemy_anemone 0 points1 point ago

Is there seriously any man that has grown up and at one point been like, "What the fuck mom?!? How could you do that to me!"

Mom, why did you circumcise me?

[–]Fixthe-Fernback 0 points1 point ago

A crime? You're an idiot

[–]LionEyes -1 points0 points ago

You are an idiot.

Well the foreskin covers the glans, thus keeping them sensitive. Cutting of the foreskin makes the glans harden and loose sensitivity. Its supposed to be a pretty big difference (female here, did a lot of research when I was pregnant with my first, a son, and decided to just leave his penis the hell alone).

[–]PhysicsHelp 6 points7 points ago

This is perpetually good advice for a mother about her sons penis.

[–]scootypuffjr33 5 points6 points ago

Circumcised here. Dick head is not hard and calloused, and I'm pretty sure that all of the sensitivity is still there.

[–]JaronK 0 points1 point ago

Me either. Never met a guy who came down with the calloused dick as far as I know either. Even talked to people who got the procedure later in life and they all reported no change (after about six months of hyper sensitivity, it all went back to normal).

[–]ATI_nerd 0 points1 point ago

What's your reference point?

[–]scootypuffjr33 0 points1 point ago

I have no problem reaching climax? If there was more sensitivity it'd be like three minute sex.

[–]ATI_nerd 0 points1 point ago

I mean about it being hard and calloused.

[–]coveredinstars 1 point2 points ago

Well regardless, it wasn't just loss of sensation that caused me and my husband to choose to leave our son intact. Most newborn circumcisions are done with not anesthesia, and the ones that do use injectable lidocane or what not still don't seem to fully remove sensation. There have been cases of boy's dying from the procedure (granted, not a large number there, but the risk versus benefit just wasn't worth it to us). I just couldn't put my child through it, if he has issues as he is older (very rare) then he can have proper anesthesia while it is dealt with.

[–]coveredinstars 0 points1 point ago

Also I didn't say it was "calloused", the proper term would actually be keratinization, but whatever.

[–]andee75 0 points1 point ago

I felt the same way when I had my son. About 12 years later he had to have the foreskin removed due to reoccurring infections. No so pleasant for him!

[–]BrerChicken -1 points0 points ago

I'm expecting my first this week, a boy. We were gonna leave him be, too, until my stepfather told me about having to get a circumcision as an adult, for the same reason of recurring infections. Horrible healing process!!!"

[–]ATI_nerd 0 points1 point ago

That's a remarkably rare condition though, likely caused by (or exacerbated by) poor personal hygiene, which in turn, often has roots in rampant ignorance on the subject of normal intact penises. I know a single anecdote can be very convincing, but it's ultimately a pretty poor argument.

It's like claiming that the pain of getting a nasty abscessed tooth fixed is a good reason to pull your children's healthy teeth out, instead of spending the time and effort to teach about brushing and flossing.

I'm willing to bet (to continue the analogy) that folks just might forget how to brush and floss if their culture removed teeth in childhood. I'm pretty sure this happens in America, where circumcision is so common that many medical professionals are appallingly ignorant on the care of intact penises, and neglect to give parents any basic information.

Minor tooth problems are fairly common, and serious ones are pretty easily avoided by anyone who cares to try. Either way, removing healthy bits for such a reason is a lazy, silly, and ultimately, unhelpful.

[–]BrerChicken 0 points1 point ago

It's certainly not what you'd call remarkably rare. It's not very common, but 1 or 2 percent is certainly not what you'd call remarkably rare. And I've seen higher numbers than that.

Your statement that it's likely caused by or exacerbated by poor personal hygiene is actually kind of offensive. My stepfather is certainly much cleaner than the rest of us! Anyway, most people with uncircumcised penises know how to clean themselves, it's not rocket science.

As far as the tooth analogy, your teeth are much more important than your foreskin.

And it's not polite to call a new parent lazy, silly, or ultimately unhelpful. You can have your opinion, but why make it personal?

[–]ATI_nerd 0 points1 point ago

It's rare enough that it's not worth worrying about.

When it comes to infections, it looks like an enlarged prostate or any other issue which affects urine flow can increase the risk of infection, it's not just a hygiene issue. However, minor hygiene issues are still pretty common. The point is that reoccurring infections are likely caused by a problem specific to an individual, which do not typically affect the population as a whole.

I'm sorry that sounded offensive, I don't have any clue what the details are. I've had serious problems with my toenails becoming ingrown, and I readily admit that was my fault for being an idiot and not trimming the nails properly. However, I understand why it sounds offensive to accuse someone else of such idiocy, especially on the internet where facts are in short supply, and I'm sorry for doing so.

Most guys with foreskins do know how to clean themselves (and it's fun doing so)!

For the tooth analogy, yes, teeth are much more important than foreskins, but they are frequently and easily replaced.

I don't mean to insult new parents, but removing body parts from your child because you've heard scary stories about them is a terrible decision.

"My aunt had terrible reoccurring UTI's in her 60's, so let's cut things off my daughter's vulva", "I had bad toenail infections when I was a teen so I pulled my child's toenails off", or possibly are bad arguments using lazy thinking, which are silly and unhelpful.

[–]BrerChicken 0 points1 point ago

Thanks for the apology.

But you know, worrying about possible infection isn't the only issue. What if he wants to be a porn star when he grows up? I mean, these are important issues!

[–]coveredinstars 0 points1 point ago

Yes it is rare to have issues with foreskin later in life. And I decided that if my son needed surgery later in life for his foreskin at least he'd have proper anesthesia and painkillers afterwards. Plus, its very rare to have issues later in life with a foreskin. Seems silly to me to cut off a piece of a newborn's body just in case... we don't remove any other body parts like that.

[–]BrerChicken 0 points1 point ago

They use anesthesia these days, at least where we are. That was a big part of our decision. I mean, you're right, I don't generally think it's a good idea to remove the parts we come with. But I tend to have skin issues, and the risk of circumcising is just not that high.

[–]JosepHell 2 points3 points ago

Hey, just wanted to share a fun fact. I had my penis pierced a few years ago and because of the strange location of my foreskin, the barbell held my foreskin back around most of the head of my penis. After about a month, I noticed that the head was beginning to lose some sensitivity, another month passed and I discovered that my penis felt calloused, I could still feel pressure, but the sensation I used to get from friction was barely there at all. That's when I took the piercing out, and everything is back to normal. Just sort of a unique experience I thought I would share. As I am drunk. I bid you farewell.

[–]ATI_nerd 0 points1 point ago

I've done similar experiments, with similar results. Noticeable change of the glans after leaving the foreskin back, starts to get weird and callous looking, and lose sensation (after hurting for a while), so I cover it back up and let it get back to normal.

I was thinking that at the time of 'save' as well, but I was actually making a slight jibe at 'This women' when it was just one womAn. So I used the plural as well.

Even if this was true, it would be the poster who has a friend request, not her.

Heads up, baby boys (even in the US) have a higher mortality rate. That;s why we are 52% female (in the US).

[–]crazychica5 -1 points0 points ago

You should x-post this to r/facepalm.

[–]duckie153 0 points1 point ago

It's interesting because baby girls are actually born stronger than baby boys.

Little girls are actually born with stronger bones than little boys. Which is why it's funny that people play so rough with little boys yet so cautious with little girls.

[–]Cahlice 0 points1 point ago

well i guess its time to to get the boy kittens of its mother right? they will be less horny right?

[–]djcubed 0 points1 point ago

I know this is probably a shallow statement, and doesn't really matter as I'm a straight guy, but uncircumcised weenies kinda freak me out. From what I've seen I dunno, I'm just glad that I am circumcised. Not trying to offed anyone or anything, just saying. Also, fuck that lady!

[–]Ihaveafatcat 0 points1 point ago

Am I the only one who's immensely distracted by the friend request?!

That's just horrible. If she has a boy, I feel so sorry for that poor little guy. From the way she talks, that poor baby will have a horrible life.

[–]exodius06 0 points1 point ago

I feel sorry for the man who's dumb enough to actually be with a woman like that. Hopefully no man will be that dumb and will save the kid from being born.
