I've started watching this series again from the beginning, and while I absolutely love it I can't help but wonder why in such an advanced time the most common solution to personal disputes is anger and a militaristic attitude. There's so many situations where the crew are like "well, the captain has been taken over by an alien entity, but we can't do shit about it because we're not allowed to question authority".

Ah well, it's still an awesome show.
