what was that?

[–]humanman42 3 points4 points ago

I was hoping someone posted a link to this video.

You've switched off your bandsaw. You've hidden your gold.

Love it!

Hot Glue for the drip, LED + button battery for the light. F$%# the plug, hang it anywhere!

EDIT: For my reference: http://www.sparkfun.com/tutorials/252

There was one for sale, and it was sold 5 months ago. If I can't actually purchase it, then it's not really a purchase link, is it?

[–]mathematical 4 points5 points ago

If you're looking at this post and the light is already sold, I can make more. I also notice that the price disappears once the item sells. If you're looking at a "sold" listing, these are $50 each plus $8 shipping.

Still a purchase link, just not a one-click purchase link.

On the other hand, it's not too hard to make if you know what you're doing

[–]Guy_Buttersnaps 6 points7 points ago

But on the other other hand, this isn't r/shutupandinspiremetobuildsomething.

[–]Icalasari 1 point2 points ago

On the other other other hand, now I know there is interest in this and can swoop in a few months from now

And it's not to hard to electrocute yourself even if you DO know what you are doing. That's why people tend to not make metal night lights anymore.

[–]Icalasari 0 points1 point ago

Either get a plastic one and paint it metallic, or do a good job making it not electrocute people

What?

The gentlemen thinks you wear posteriors upon your crown, and regrets the unavoidable expenditure of his discretionary funds that the discovery of this product demands.

Hahaha

[–]bri35[S] 2 points3 points ago

He is grievously mistaken, though I do regret the damage to his wallet

...Do I want to know why he's cumming out enough fluid that it would kill a person via dehydration, and why it's glowing?

[–]cogitoergosam 2 points3 points ago

/r/pareidolia would approve

Wouldn't you be if somebody attached that to your penis?

PIC ONLY

DOWNVOTE ONLY

EDIT: I see you have posted the link in the comments. Why not make a new post linking to the product instead of the X-Post + comment description? Is this how we're doing it now?

[–]bri35[S] 2 points3 points ago

Sorry - should have done that! Should I still? Obviously I am not too good at posting.

[–]eyeffensive -2 points-1 points ago

I have no idea anymore, SUATMM throws me a curveball everyday

Thanks for not reposting Uncrate :)

[–]awesomeideas 0 points1 point ago

I made a reading lamp like that, but it also had a pvc plumbing stand which the cord went through, and used a white LED.
