I've always wondered how you lock you keys in your car, seeing as you have to have your keys to lock your car.

I had a car that auto locked after about 10 minutes. I've also had my car locked, dropped my keys in my trunk, and closed the trunk (you know because I'm a genius).

Put keys down, hit the lock while inside, get out and close the door, and see your keys sitting there on the seat. Face palm.

I've done this three times now. The latest was right after my wallet was stolen, containing my license and AAA card in it, during a delivery for my job.

It was not a good night.

I once had a broken arm and my car got snowed in, in my haste to get to work on time I did a terrible thing. I started the car, put it in drive and had the idea to ram into the trunk and try to dislodge it from the ice. Upon the first impact with the trunk my door slammed shut, and there it was the car running, in drive, and me locked out of it. Luckily, the car stayed stuck in the snow/ice until my dad got there with a second set of keys.

I was pledgemaster for me fraternity. We drove to a remote location and had all the pledges blindfolded, standing in different locations in a field in the middle of nowhere. And I locked everything in my car.

Long story short, the AAA guy was confused but relieved I didn't have a motive to shoot him. He went ahead and believed the story that we were all stargazing.

I don't know how I got that job.
