A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports).

Well, no. That projection is from the 10 console version. The one that the OP has posted is the 8 console version, created by a completely different modder.

Still better than anything I've ever created.

Think of R2-D2 as a case. That's this project at its core.

All this person has done is take each of the consoles, gutted them to their bare minimums and placed them inside R2-D2. The interfaces, such as joypad/joystick, power and cartridge, I assume would be visible through some custom made holes on the "case", which likely can be closed when not in use like a sliding door (that's what I would do).

As this mod also has a built-in projector, these consoles can each be hooked up to it in various ways to take care of display.

As for power, I have no idea. Perhaps there is a bunch of plugs coming out from the back that can be tucked away neatly? Maybe there's a custom battery system inside that can be charged, thus making this semi-portable? Again, there's a myriad of options available.

The last thing to worry about would be keeping this thing cool. With 8 consoles inside, there's not much room to breathe. This can easily be fixed by installing a good case fan.

A PC is a case with a system inside. This is a PC with 8 systems inside. That's all.

first turn on all consoles at once. second find a fire extinguisher. third wait for it to light on fire (5-10 minutes). fourth go buy separate consoles and you wont burn you house down. Awsome mod but not very convenient.
