This was printed in a Donald Duck magazine a long time ago in Norway. People got in trouble when they tried the first three notes and looked back at the magazine for more notes. 112 is the number to reach the emergency police.

My phone's keypad plays in F# Minor.

For normal phones, they are generally a major key and each number is a little higher in the scale. This means that you can't play any accidentals on the phone, only the sharps and flats that appear in the scale that your phone plays in.

In general, 1-8 play the note in the scale that corresponds to that number. So if your phone plays in C Major, 1 will play C, 2 will play D, 3 will play E, and so on. 9 will play the C above 1, * will play the D above 2, 0 will play the E above 3, and # will play the F above 4.

Multiple ways to play it. Tones are made up of two sounds. One sound increases in pitch as you move across the key pad, but is the same in the vertical row, the other sound changes in pitch as you move down the column, but not across.
