    In the late '90's, they took the world by storm with their self-proclaimed "Bollywood rock" and their hit song "Tunak Turac Too". What became of Moroccan Car Crash? Find out as we go...Behind The Music.

    Moroccan Car Crash was formed in Detroit Michigan in lead singer Johnny "Apu" Apuman's garage.

    "So, my parents thought I should learn to play the Sitar, right? Said it would 'broaden my cultural horizons' or some crap like that. I hated it, but they wouldn't let me get out of it. One day I'm practicing and my buds tell me 'Hey! That sounds pretty cool.' One thing led to another and we just started jamming."

    That day, Moroccan Car Crash cut their first demo and sent it off to a local record company. In the height of Motown, their music was a breath of fresh air, and they shot to the top of the charts.

    "We had everything," Apuman recalls, "money, women, and enough bricks of hashish to build a freakin' mansion! We all spent our dough like it would never run out and times were good."

    Soon enough, though, Moroccan Car Crash found the money running out. People soon tired of their trademark sound. Critics lambasted them as "gimmicky" and "cheap". Within a month of forming, Moroccan Car Crash was forced to disband.

    "We all just had to get normal jobs. I guess there isn't any room in the world for an Indian folk rock band full of white people anymore."

            Pretty much what Strangely_Calm said. It's an oddly wired light, and sometimes if you turn it off in the bathroom it doesn't work and you have to turn it off using the switch in the toilet.

            Other housemates have worked this out, however he thinks pulling it rapidly, shouting "Oh fuck you!" and waving his hands at it will be more effective.

Small Ramadan cookies made from a dark bread with lots of anise, with slices cut in it and "tied up," then fried and soaked in honey. And then with sesame seeds sprinkled on it. You know what I mean. That shit is DELICIOUS. Also, "little letters." You know, those little pastries with sweet chicken meat in them. God I love those. And the almond-paste cookies in the shape of gazelle horns, those are good too.

                                  So basically you win at food, and especially deserts.

                                  Oh, also, only Muslim country I can think of whose king is actively pushing for a serious move toward representative democracy. And he was supposed to be "the dumb one" growing up :P

                                  Oh, ALSO, take a look at the state of your agricultural industry over the past 20 years. I guarantee you will see AMAZING progress. Much faster than pretty much any other nation, except maybe China.

                                  So you don't really do everything stupid.

                                  Oh right there's also the "first nation to recognize the US as a sovereign state" thing, which has paid significant dividends over the centuries. I still have the commemorative stamp for the whatever anniversary of US-Moroccan friendship.

                                    I can only guess that the smaller white van (or is it a mini-bus?) and the blue car both did a hard emergency stop, putting all the weight on their front wheels.

                                    The bigger lorry ploughed into the back of the blue car and pushed it into the back of the smaller van. At that point because the car was braking there is little weight on the back axle so the easiest place to go is up. This would also help lift the smaller van (car and van are now an item).

                                    Not exactly right, but close enough, I suppose. The front already has the most weight as that is where the engine most likely is. Also, given the sloped front of the minivan, when it was shoved into the back of the minibus, it probably started sliding under the minibus. This would raise the back end of the minivan enough that the truck slipped underneath the minivan. As the front end of the minivan was already under the minibus, it to was lift up as inertia carried the truck forward. As the wheels of the minivan hit the edge of the trailer section, the coup de grace is delivered. The truck, still moving forward, shoves the minibus further back. The minivan, lacking the weight to counter the minibus and rotating around the fulcrum it's front wheels have become, has it's ass end lifted up even more till it stands fairly perpendicular.

                                    Yes. It's incredibly beautiful and is experiencing substantial economic growth. Morocco was hardly impacted by the events of the Arab Spring. It has a remarkably low rate of inflation and relatively low unemployment. Further, its currency has remained very stable. Morocco was the first ally of the U.S. and has free trade agreements with us thereby furthering its economic rise. Most importantly, the women are beautiful, the food is amazing, and Moroccans are as friendly as people can possibly be.

                                      Having visited Morroco and seen how they drive, I can understand how it got there.

                                      Incident 1) woman in full burqa driving a moped nearly runs me over. How she saw with no peripheral vision and obscured front vision I have no idea.

                                      Incident 2) driving back to the airport taxi driver turns left in front of motorcyclist and collide. This results in 10 minutes of furious arguing while I sit in the taxi wondering what I should do. After much hand waiving and raised voices they shake hands and we drive off.
