My cat will let me do this too. It seems to hypnotize him or something. The second I stop moving him he viciously attacks my arm. If I start moving him again, however, he will settle back down and continue getting dragged along the floor.

I use to do this to my dog for years. I'd grab her by her front paws, and drag her back against the carpet, and kind of let go at the last second so she slid. She'd come back for another every time.
