Correct but that work is done on an assembly line with multiple workers in a factory and likely has a standardized procedure, I would also bet the only burrs that they bother with are burrs they can run a piece once or twice over a sander to remove.

You'd be wrong on both counts. There are some production shops that run a shitload of standardized parts, sure, but there are also a lot of job shops. Shops that do short run or difficult work. Machined surfaces are fine as is, but edges and corners have to be have a chamfer or radius that's .010 - .030 depending on the part. This includes holes. This is often done with a deburring knife or hole deburr tool. Some parts also aren't cut net. They'll still have tabs on them that have to be ground or something like that. Metal is also a bit harder than plastic and for plastic you can use the same or similar tools. Silicon would require a sharper blade, most likely.

With plastic and rubber, you only have seams where the mold breaks apart. With aircraft you've got every machined edge and hole.

Deburring a part, whether aircraft or dildo, has very similar goals. You don't want to do a shit job because people can get hurt from the burrs. I'm an inspector and I've been sliced by parts that weren't properly deburred. It's like a paper cut, but deeper. Worst case scenario, you're not likely to get someone killed either way, though you do everything you can to do your job right.

Mind you, I'm talking American made parts. I can only imagine the third world aircraft part prices.
