It's like punching in a dream.

[–]Josri 270 points271 points ago

I hate it so much when that happens! haha

[–]jangeun 309 points310 points ago

TIL punching in a dream being really weak is a common thing. I've always thought it was just a random occurrence.

[–]Lemon_Tile 212 points213 points ago

I don't get that. For me, it's running really slowly

[–]Rikicarvu 88 points89 points ago

Argh same! I get so pissed off I just jump and start flying instead.

[–]Lemon_Tile 48 points49 points ago

I had the opposite experience. Tried to fly, ran slowly instead. Really frustrating stuff.

[–]Razarex 32 points33 points ago

What the actual fuck the I have dreamt every single thing on this list.

[–]IRSoup 6 points7 points ago

TIL I share the same dreams as everyone ever.

[–]kinnaq 1 point2 points ago

Telepathy? Dammit, then everyone stop dreaming about that thing with the corn on the cob and Mrs. Laramee from 7th grade. I hate that one.

[–]MrMastodon 5 points6 points ago

Did you complete the prerequisites? Step 1: Get cape Step 2: Wear cape Step 3: Fly

[–]raynius 3 points4 points ago

I always end dreams I can remember falling downwards, last time was because a ship defied physics, still felt awesome though, ever tried being slingshotted downwards by a giant tanker?

[–]MrMastodon 6 points7 points ago

I have not.

[–]raynius 2 points3 points ago

You should try it! (if attempted in real life might not work or cause unexpected/expected pain and or death)

[–]Lemon_Tile 0 points1 point ago

Dammit... I guess I got too excited and forgot to get a cape!

[–]SG_Dave 0 points1 point ago

Well...If this is the war of the worlds, then I don't want to be apart.

[–]Dotastar 10 points11 points ago

Holy crap, i jump and fly all the time, i thought i was alone ( do u find yourself trying to swim in air to stay close to the ground, sort of like at the bottom of a swimming pool.)

[–]9inchfoot 9 points10 points ago

Argh when i try to fly i piss myself instead.

[–]Rubrum_ 6 points7 points ago

Mine often involve me jumping, but jumping so high that I'm basically catapulted. And I didn't expect it. It's a bit like in these chinese martial arts films. Except I'm always unsure where the hell I'm going to land and if it's going to hurt and I don't have much control over it. Aaaaaaah TREES LAND IN THE TREES.

[–]ThereIsNoPepe-Silvia 4 points5 points ago

YES! It's been years since I had a flying dream though :(

[–]KawlN 3 points4 points ago

I always end up flying too high, then losing the ability to fly and falling to the ground below, waking up right as I hit the ground every time.

[–]mrmazola 1 point2 points ago

when i was a kid i had a few flying dreams, but for some reason i always had to start from a kneeling position.

[–]iratusamuru 2 points3 points ago

It always takes me a little while to realize that I'm able to fly. The slow running for me usually happens because my step launches me into the air for a few seconds, so my legs beat like a cartoon character's in the air until I touch earth again and repeat. When I realize that the problem is I can't run because I'm partially flying, the feeling is ecstatic.

[–]Dovahkin_Jones 0 points1 point ago

Have you ever tried back flipping? Yep, that was basically my dream for 8 hours.

[–]HamzasSister 2 points3 points ago

And once you realise you are flying you start gliding reallyy close to the ground because suddenly that gets hard too.

[–]PromisesPromise5 2 points3 points ago

[–]Ellatul 1 point2 points ago

Ugh! Whenever I try to fly its super slow and I'm heavy in my dreams :(

[–]bonerfleximus 0 points1 point ago

My dream is a combination of these, I can start running in mid-air to fly really slowly. It's awesome at first until I realize that if I get too tired to keep running I'm going to fall...

[–]PedoJones 13 points14 points ago

I get incredibly horrible balance and just fall over in my dreams. I spend what feels like hours falling, attempting to stand and falling over again. Shittiest dreams ever.

[–]Lemon_Tile 3 points4 points ago

I know, seriously, what a waste of a dream!

[–]tommybread 2 points3 points ago

Seriously, I get this, the running slow and punching weak thing. Feels bad, man.

[–]palpablescalpel 1 point2 points ago

Whoa, that's the only one from this list that I don't get. Sorry bro.

[–]Unripe 1 point2 points ago

I hate you for reminding me and, possibly, my subconscious. Growing up, this is all that ever happened to me when trying to run away.

If it starts up again I'm coming for you.

[–]Schaffersaurus 11 points12 points ago

TIL that I am fairly normal.

[–]Prosopagnosiape 9 points10 points ago

I get that, or not being able to lift myself up off the floor.

I've had so many nightmares that i can kind of semi-lucid my way out of fight dream situations while some mugger is slicing my arms up and i'm like 'quit it!' and then phase through the floor to somewhere else.

[–]Lemon_Tile 6 points7 points ago

I remember the one time I thought I had a lucid dream. It was just a regular dream when I realized, "Hey, I'm dreaming, I can do anything! I think I'll go fly around for a bit!" So I bend my knees, getting ready for an epic take-off. Then just when I spring up to fly, I start the slow motion running instead... So I just think "Goddammit..." and I wake up instead.

[–]Prosopagnosiape 3 points4 points ago

Sounds like you came pretty close! That's a common experience for people who've not lucid dreamed before or often. Maybe next time you'll be able to hang onto lucidity a little longer before waking up or falling back into the dream since it'll not be such an alien feeling. I'm still getting the hang of it. Sometimes i can do whatever i want, sometimes i'll try and fly or turn something into something else and just fall on my face or stand there pointing at something with a constipated face.

[–]NachosandOats 0 points1 point ago

I once thought my dream turned into a lucid dream. I was being chased by this creature that was in my house and had killed off the rest of my family. So I was running from it, and then suddenly I stopped and said to myself, "Hey, I must be dreaming." So I started slapping myself, and felt nothing. The problem was I didn't wake up, and only did when I turned around and the monster was right there.

[–]DerpinNinjaa 6 points7 points ago

Holy shit, I thought I was the only one . It feels like punching something under water

[–]bwever 3 points4 points ago

Whenever I'm driving in my dreams my brakes don't work.

[–]grimman 2 points3 points ago

Oh. Once I was running so slowly I had to lean forward, almost lying flat on the ground, just to push myself forward like I was climbing the ground. Dreams are shit. :(

[–]whereallthepieswent 1 point2 points ago

That, or sometimes I am fleeing... but I just.. get.. so... sleepy..

[–]tommybread 1 point2 points ago

I get both:(

[–]PrimeIntellect 1 point2 points ago

Fuck I hate that, I'm always trying to run but I float ever so gently right above the ground and so I can't get traction to actual run right, it's like trying to run on the moon. incredibly frustrating. however, I've drilled it into my head as a "trigger" so if it happens I can realize I'm dreaming and go into a lucid dream.

[–]ReUsable_Tampon 1 point2 points ago

dude for me I try and run in my dream and I always fall...

[–]chunes 1 point2 points ago

I run slowly in dreams too but I get around it by sort of dragging myself along the ground with my arms.

[–]clancyjr 2 points3 points ago

I do like super crazy parkour. running on all fours, scrambling all over, climbing walls and mountains and what not. And i was doing it as a kid in my dreams, way before parkour was invented. I guess what I'm saying is, I invented parkour and I'm suing anyone that uses it for royalties.

[–]SpelingTroll 0 points1 point ago

It happens because the brain regions responsible for that movements are turned off in order to avoid you to wander out of the cave into the woods and being eaten by a lion.

[–]Lemon_Tile 1 point2 points ago

I've slept walked before though. Nothing made me feel like I was running in molasses then.

[–]TodTheTyrant 0 points1 point ago

it's basically facing any opponent at anything where they are vastly superior and you KNOW IT. the last time this manifested for me in a bicycle race and i was just on a trike.

[–]suupermorgann 0 points1 point ago

I've had dreams where my eyes are permanently open or closed and its terrifying.

[–]Lemon_Tile 1 point2 points ago

Oh man, wouldn't it be awful if you woke up and had pink eye and couldn't open your eyes??

[–]suupermorgann 0 points1 point ago

Now your nightmare comes to life...

[–]constipationnow 0 points1 point ago

i always swim very fast, but run very slow.

[–]_readit_ 0 points1 point ago

It is a protection mechanism so you don't end up like that one dog...

[–]Lemon_Tile 0 points1 point ago

what dog?

[–]_readit_ 2 points3 points ago

[–]MajorFilm 0 points1 point ago

or constantly falling down as you try to run

[–]snailiens 0 points1 point ago

Me too. I wonder if being wrapped up in covers, constraining movement, is the source of this?

[–]rawnoodles10 25 points26 points ago

It keeps you from punching bits of your bedroom when you are asleep.

[–]catbee 5 points6 points ago

Except, one time I did this. I had a dream that the meat manager at the store I was working was beating me up. I went to punch him back and in real life, I punched my window sill. Hurt like a bitch, and I busted my knuckle open.

[–]1_point_21_gigawatts 18 points19 points ago

I once punched my ex-girlfriend in the jaw and kneed her in the ribs while I was having a dream that I was fending off Tom Cruise's army of Scientology monkeys who were trying to kidnap me.

[–]ZeroGSpaceCow 11 points12 points ago

Yeah, I punched my fiancee recently...

[–]DisregardHumanity 15 points16 points ago

I punch my fiancee.

[–]EatThyStool 3 points4 points ago

I beat the shit out of my fiancee...

[–]Dred 6 points7 points ago

My wife beats the shit out of me.

[–]sadhound55 5 points6 points ago

You were awake weren't you...

[–]ZeroGSpaceCow 9 points10 points ago

Shhhhhhh...

[–]blunderchief 0 points1 point ago

This dream sounds made up.

[–]1_point_21_gigawatts 0 points1 point ago

Well, it technically was made up. All dreams are.

[–]jevmorgan 3 points4 points ago

Had a dream one night where I was punching. Ended up punching the wall, waking up my girlfriend, making the cats flip their shit and run all across us, clawing us all the way, and bruising knuckles all at the same time.

[–]bretstar 0 points1 point ago

Should've just let him manage your meat, bro.

[–]Zaiton 2 points3 points ago

Wait..so when i punch something in a dream i'm actually punching my wall really softly?

[–]bjanos 6 points7 points ago

I once tried to punch in a dream but then my fist fell back right in my face

[–]FlyingFishCake 0 points1 point ago

the opponent made you "confused"

[–]TeazleDiesel 4 points5 points ago

You are not a unique and special snowflake

[–]Roadscholar 2 points3 points ago

Same with running, I always try to run faster but it just feels like I"m running on air or I can't move my legs any faster.

[–]Ajunk 2 points3 points ago

The reason that happens is because, in your dreams, your body lacks sharp feedback response. Punching, like running, requires this. That is why you typically float rather than run, and punch super weakly.

[–]timredditwis 0 points1 point ago

There's an explanation for this! I don't remember it exactly, but it's something to do with not being able to simulate the feeling of moving your arm quickly or some shit.

[–]ShortWhiteFriend 2 points3 points ago

Probably has to do with sleep paralysis. Your muscles "lock up" when you sleep, so when your dreaming brain tries to tell them to do things and they don't respond, dream-brain freaks out.

[–]wheatfields 0 points1 point ago

I dont think I have ever punched anyone in a dream. ( or in real life for that matter)

[–]StatutoryGrapist 0 points1 point ago

holy fuck. i have thought something is wrong with me for the past 10 years

[–]McJawsh 0 points1 point ago

I don't know what to think of this world anymore. What is this phenomenon?

[–]kyledouglas521 0 points1 point ago

When I was younger I had a dream like this, but as an added slap in the face, I was fighting a monster as a power ranger who couldn't actually morph. Like, I'd try, and just nothing would happen. It was the saddest thing ever.

[–]chewp911 0 points1 point ago

I had a dream last night where I could punch normally. I think it's the first time I've been able to do that.

[–]Mr_SPIN_OUT 0 points1 point ago

I've always just gotten really heavy eyelids in my dreams. As soon as I try to look at something in particular. Boom, 5 tonne eyelids.

[–]SOLIDninja 0 points1 point ago

It depends on the size of the person/thing being punched for me. If it's taller than me, i punch like i've been sleeping on my arm(maybe what's actually happening and triggering that type of dream)

If it's my height or shorter, or if there's multiple opponents I tend to fuck shit up - disarming gangsters with fedoras and tommy-guns like i'm goddamn Liam Neeson in Taken.

[–]Torek2142 0 points1 point ago

I always thought it was just me! I have those dreams like weekly!

[–]Enjoiissweet 0 points1 point ago

It's because your brain isn't fully awake and the part that controls your fine movement skills is asleep. I can't find the reference but I know I read that some where.

For me I always have dreams about swimming and I can't do anything fast enough to stay above water.

[–]RuafaolGaiscioch 0 points1 point ago

I feel so much more validated now.

[–]iSwearImStrait 0 points1 point ago

I get weak punches, A LOT of falling, and I also laugh in my dreams.. I once laughed at a dog just because it was laughing.

[–]clancyjr 0 points1 point ago

omigod so happy right now

[–]_Freedom_ 13 points14 points ago

Never happened to me, I just get where I'm running, and my legs barely work. I assume it's a similar feeling, wonder what causes it.

[–]Josri 2 points3 points ago

I had that when I was younger as a kid, similar feeling yea. I think there was even a askreddit post about shit like that happening in your sleep.

[–]Lucas_Steinwalker 2 points3 points ago

Your brain cannot model physics as much as cope with them.

When you throw a punch, or run, the brain is triggering your muscles to initiate the action, but much of what happens is dictated by the effects of physics.

In your dream, physics don't exist and your brain doesn't realize to or is unable to insert them into the dream, so the same action you would do in reality to throw a punch does not work right.

[–]FlaccidExplosion 14 points15 points ago

This is the most frustrating thing ever. Also if I have a gun in a dream, usually it has the same effect of a tiny little bb gun. I keep pelting my nemesis with it but they just bounce off. Fuck me.

[–]d7668d 18 points19 points ago

When I dream of shooting a gun it takes every ounce of my being to actually pull the trigger, like I need to apply 1000 lbs of pressure for it to go off. Also, noodle swords.

[–]VaJoiner 4 points5 points ago

Me too! Like it's a two handed job and then it may not even work. Also I often end up with many different sized bullets to try and get into the clip.

[–]what_comes_after_q 3 points4 points ago

The sword represents your penis. Edit: everything represents your penis

[–]FlaccidExplosion 2 points3 points ago

Maybe that just means you're a kind-hearted person? :-)

[–]ZeroGSpaceCow 4 points5 points ago

Woah! I had no idea these things were common. That happens to me too. Someone breaks into my house or something, and I shoot them, but my bullets do nothing! I go to punch them, but my fists like are like weak little balls of cotton and do nothing.

[–]FlaccidExplosion 2 points3 points ago

I hate it so much! When I wake up I'm like "That could have gone so much differently and so much more awesome. Fuck."

[–]Gifos 3 points4 points ago

Every time I try to fire a gun in my dreams, it fades away. After a few minutes I realize I've just been pointing my finger and shouting "Bang! Bang!" at the bad guys.

[–]FlaccidExplosion 0 points1 point ago

They're crafty, very crafty. And I can't even rely on my own hands as weapons because I can't punch worth shit in my dreams either. Damn it.

[–]Gifos 0 points1 point ago

I've heard training yourself to conjure a knife is very useful, since using one is simpler than either punching or operating a firearm.

That would take discipline and persistence, neither of which I possess in appreciable quantity, so I can't attest to the effectiveness of this method.

If I'm going to try, though, I think I'll make a lightsaber instead of a knife.

[–]FlaccidExplosion 1 point2 points ago

I really really really want to have lucid dreams. Being able to control your dreams would be so fucking fun and awesome. But I've never been able to realize I'm dreaming. :-(

[–]Gifos 1 point2 points ago

Obligatory link to /r/luciddreaming

I learned by myself, so I don't know of how much help I can be, except just to advise you to constantly watch your surroundings, and whenever something is wonky, consider that you may be dreaming. Making a habit of looking at your hands is also good, as they are invariably fucked up in dreams(perfectly usable though, strangely enough).

I started figuring things out when I realized people were strangely apathetic to stuff that should discomfort them. Me being pantsless in public and everyone being chilled about it is a strong indicator of a dream.

[–]FlaccidExplosion 2 points3 points ago

I've peeked in there once or twice but never really looked into it. Hands are always fucked up in dreams? I've never noticed this before. I think I would be able to tell that I was dreaming when I noticed all of the weird things going on but my problem is that, in my dreams, those "weird things" seem completely normal. Damn you, Inception!

[–]Gifos 0 points1 point ago

Yeah, that's a bummer. Big spidery aliens have taken over the cooking shows? Must be Monday.

[–]chocolate_milks 1 point2 points ago

With all of the "techniques" to become lucid, this was the only thing that helped me. Just being more aware in real life (and good dream recall, of course) made me become more aware of surroundings and situations in dreams. One really good exercise to increase awareness in real life that carries into a dream is to recall how you got where you are now.

Sitting at your desk on the computer? Think back to where you were before and how you physically moved to your desk and everything in between. It's something that we never really think about, and we obviously don't think about it in dreams. We are just somewhere with no recollection on how we got there.

Also text and clocks in dreams are usually all sorts of fucked up. It takes too much energy for your brain to accurately portray text consistently in a dream.

TLDR: Don't trust a horse to file your taxes for you.

[–]midnightsnacks 0 points1 point ago

Also getting shot or falling, fucking hurts.

[–]Lasmrah 1 point2 points ago

For some reason I've discovered that despite weak punching in dreams, strangling/arm bars/grappling moves seem to work fine. Ever since then I've taken to choking people in dreams whenever my punches fail to work.

So satisfying.

[–]Revived 0 points1 point ago

hahaha..haha..ha. Oh man..hah..wipes tear away

[–]Wulftastic 43 points44 points ago

breathing life into my nightmare...

[–]ZeroGSpaceCow 9 points10 points ago

Holy fuck, I'm not the only one this happens too?

Same thing with guns too. My bullets become impotent.

[–]nunchukity 2 points3 points ago

first thing i thought of, love that album

[–]souldonkey 4 points5 points ago

This is one of the big reasons I avoided fights through much of my childhood. I was always afraid that my real punches would be like my dream punches. Then I got in a fight and broke some kids nose in 7th grade. I felt bad (it was over something extremely trivial), and was also grounded for a very long time. After that my motivation to not fight was fear of my parents retaliation and empathy for the person I was hitting.

[–]MindintoMatter 3 points4 points ago

I find that if I turn into the Hulk my punches get better. You should try it, it works.

[–]Punkster93 6 points7 points ago

I hate this feeling so much, but it's a really good song though.

[–]Jeezum_Crepes 2 points3 points ago

Wow, I'm so glad this was mentioned. Thought I was the only one!

[–]I_WasLate_ToMemes 1 point2 points ago

Yelling in a dream sucks too

[–]mslade 3 points4 points ago

Usually when I'm trying to yell in a dream, but my mouth is really hoarse or I can't talk, I try to power through it. If I succeed and end up yelling, my wife wakes me up and tells me that I was talking / shouting in my sleep.

[–]byoonbyoon 2 points3 points ago

reminds me of that song...

[–]Woden1Eye 1 point2 points ago

canada's national sport; a proud tradition.

[–]The_other_Aphex_twin 1 point2 points ago

Damn, it's good to know I'm not the only one who experiences this

[–]Frankstg 1 point2 points ago

I had a couple of those dreams recently ... No matter what, it's always as if I tried to punch while underwater. I usually hate every single one of those dreams.

[–]IrishPub 0 points1 point ago

Oh god, there are others! I deal with that, running very slowly. If I can fly in the dream, it takes a tremendous amount of effort and I barely get off the ground, and driving is nearly impossible. I always have to slam on the brakes as hard as I can to stop the car, and even then it only slows down to a crawl. Dreams man. Fuck.

[–]Elsie980 -1 points0 points ago

OMG! I am not the only person that happens to?? Phew. I thought I had some issues or something. I don't really do a lot of punching in real life, but in my dreams my punches are just as wimpy at the guy in the gifs.

[–]manlord 0 points1 point ago

I will usually then switch to kicking and end up kicking the wall next to my bed IRL and bloodying the end of my big toe.

[–]Bobilip 0 points1 point ago

I telepathicly but random objects in the center of peoples heads and make it grow so their heads explode. If you're going to hurt/kill someone in a dream, do it right.

[–]BrizzleShawini 0 points1 point ago

Worst feeling ever.

[–]N1MBL3 0 points1 point ago

Especially when it is a dream in a dream of a dream then the swing takes like centuries.

[–]n1c0_ds 0 points1 point ago

Strange, because I deliver bone-shattering punches in my dreams. It's just that people in my dreams are pretty much invincible.

[–]artistictech 0 points1 point ago

Or never having the brakes in a car work, like I'm flooring them, pumping them, and I'll slow down, but full stop never happens in the best case. In the worst case I gun it and try to increase speed so I can merge when I make a right turn at the intersection so I won't just be stuck in the middle of the street.

[–]ideanmalek 0 points1 point ago

This happens to other people too? YAY! My punches are always really slow and really weak in a dream.

[–]Shadow713 102 points103 points ago

Why is he so happy?

[–]EvilGrimace 30 points31 points ago

It's almost like he thought he was posing for a picture. You know you're a bad fighter when your opponent doesn't know you're trying to fight him until you've landed your third punch.

[–]eastshores 71 points72 points ago

Because.. punch!

[–]Creator_of_Cones 44 points45 points ago

He's just taunting the guy, crazy adrenaline, wants to show how much tougher he is.

[–]remote_production 15 points16 points ago

Look up "Jon mirasty fight" on youtube. He probably hasn't been hit with a punch that soft since he was 16 or 17. I'm not a huge fan of fighting in hockey, but if you're going to talk about pound-for-pound best fighters, Mirasty is up there.

[–]AlwaysHere202 22 points23 points ago

Hockey isn't hockey without fighting.

[–]harroldhino 9 points10 points ago

I believe fighting in hockey has it's place, and is actually quite important ot the game.

BUT, how can you label Mirasty as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters if he has never played a single game in the show?

[–]remote_production 6 points7 points ago

because hes not big enough to be an enforcer and not good enough to play a regular shift.

[–]harroldhino 1 point2 points ago

haven't seen enough of his play to know about his skill...but it's fairly obvious he brings nothing to the table regardless of what kind of system he would be in. look at Domi and Stock, both smaller fellows(but probably talented enough to make it work for them)

im kind of just disagreeing with the claim he's a good fighter. Yes, he's a psycho. Yes, he beats the shit out of people(albeit in a non-fighting league), but not a top tier enforcer by any means...still giving you upvotes.

[–]remote_production 0 points1 point ago

a lot of smaller guys in the nhl that fight had productive seasons in juniors. mirasty had nothin. lol

[–]harroldhino 1 point2 points ago

hah, hence playing in the K and probably holds the league record for suspensions.

good god I miss puck.

[–]remote_production 0 points1 point ago

The Vityaz squad last year was a bit of a circus. Mirasty, Yablonski, Brennan. A few scuffles off the ice too.

[–]lakk 1 point2 points ago

the first video on youtube relating to that search phrase was a video of him fighting with... Creed playing over it. what the hell man

[–]remote_production 0 points1 point ago

i apologize for sending you on a path that lead to Creed.

edit:spelling

[–]ShortWhiteFriend 9 points10 points ago

It doesn't seem like this is a "real" fight. Both guys look like they're just horsing around.

EDIT NEVER MIND THAT IS NOT TRUE

[–]TheHerbalGerbil 0 points1 point ago

Hockey fights aren’t so much about doing serious damage or putting the guy down for the count as they are about sending a message.

[–]ShortWhiteFriend 0 points1 point ago

Well yeah I know, but I imagine there could be some fights that are really meant to put another guy in his place, while others are more along the lines of "ha ha I'm punching youuuu"

[–]CoupledPerfect 47 points48 points ago

Grab my strong hand!

This is Jon "NASTY" Mirasty Check out some of his fights online. He is known for smiling and laughing at his opponents during his fights. He has also had a few MMA matches.

And this fight is in the KHL Russia's top hockey league, not exactly known for its fights.

[–]SLICK_EDITOR 0 points1 point ago

He looks like a complete mental.

[–]jcmoose 2 points3 points ago

Oh he most certainly is insane. But he is damn entertaining to watch

[–]Creator_of_Cones 29 points30 points ago

Can we get a full clip link??

[–]Creator_of_Cones 60 points61 points ago

Nevermind I've GOT IT COVERED

[–]Mokeez 25 points26 points ago

Who are you kidding, you already had that link.

[–]Creator_of_Cones 26 points27 points ago

The moment went a little like this after commenting, "wtf am I doing, I'll just find this shit myself"

[–]FifeeBoy 6 points7 points ago

I had a fight go like this once... I was not the strong one.

[–]21stCenturyNigger 12 points13 points ago

How could this be any more manly?

[–]sonhjac 13 points14 points ago

[–]TopShelfBrand1134 1 point2 points ago

I used to watch him when he was with the Syracuse Crunch. What a boss

[–]oil83 0 points1 point ago

Probably put on some of the best hockey fights I've ever seen.

[–]septimus379 2 points3 points ago

They look so happy

[–]xangraves 4 points5 points ago

This is how I envision a fight would go between myself and an Australian rugby player... but the clip is longer.

[–]Imonthis 8 points9 points ago

Nice try Australian rugby player.

[–]mdim 1 point2 points ago

I had no idea Howard Stern played hockey.

[–]KennedyRules6 0 points1 point ago

[–]UnseenAlchemist 0 points1 point ago

[–]Blast338 0 points1 point ago

What is going on here? It just looks like the guy is trying two get his attention.

[–]SLICK_EDITOR 0 points1 point ago

[–]Blast338 2 points3 points ago

[–]CJtheCannabisGuy 0 points1 point ago

[–]wobbut 0 points1 point ago

GIFford should've giffed for a couple seconds longer

[–]krishnagoth 0 points1 point ago

I cannot even imagine what goes through the head of a person, who does not notice he's being punched in a jaw.

[–]akubar 0 points1 point ago

They're so happy!

[–]Destoyer_ov_Toilets -1 points0 points ago

I played hockey with that guy once. He's a cool dude.

[–]Afrew 1 point2 points ago

Oh lord, is he legitimately trying to punch him? I seriously thought he was kidding xD

[–]occupation 0 points1 point ago

It looks to me, that he is letting the guy hit him multiple times in the face so that there is no question who started the fight.

[–]sinenominex 0 points1 point ago

I don't think you understand. I fucking LOVE getting punched in the face!

[–]asleeplessmalice 0 points1 point ago

Canada.

[–]Strayarc 0 points1 point ago

I can move without touching the ground (not flying, just hovering like a land speeder). I trade this for a complete inability to dial phones correctly.

[–]DERPHERPZ -3 points-2 points ago

[–]LegoClaes 1 point2 points ago

Actually, not in this case.

[–]Tebasaki 1 point2 points ago

The noise I imaging you'd hear is something like the nerds on the Simpsons when they exert energy or emotion.

[–]JaFFsTer 1 point2 points ago

That was pretty sick. If i saw that in a movie i'd be like "oh pleasee"

[–]Opee23 3 points4 points ago

[–]spooger1855 2 points3 points ago

[–]n1c0_ds 0 points1 point ago

The guy responsible for the sound effects in this movie deserves an award.
