Rules

  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

  5. Submissions must link directly to a specific image file or to an image hosting website with minimal ads. We do not allow blog hosting of images ("blogspam"), but links to albums on image hosting websites are okay. URL shorteners are prohibited.

  6. No animated images. Please submit them to /r/gif, /r/gifs, or /r/reactiongifs instead.

  • If your submission appears to be filtered but definitely meets the above rules, please send us a message with a link to the comments section of your post (not a direct link to the image). Don't delete it as that just makes the filter hate you!

  • If you come across any rule violations, please report the submission or message the mods and one of us will remove it!

Please also try to come up with original post titles. Submissions that use certain clichés/memes will be automatically tagged with a warning.

got a bigger image? would be easier to identify him if the licence plate was readable. also it would help to know the area or town where the pic was taken

Just because we're going to eat it doesn't mean we have to make it suffer beforehand. You're probably going to put a pet of yours down someday, if you haven't already, but that doesn't mean you're going to treat it like shit while it's alive.

yeah, he really looks distressed......have you ever worked with Cattle? I am guessing not. Trust me, if he had no desire to be there, he wouldn't be. Those straps are really more of a deterrent than restraint from the looks of the lay out. Is it the best method of transport, god no and the animal is in danger should it choose to stand and jump. But it is just sitting there, like it has no fucks to give. should the drive be turned in for being a dumb ass? yes. will it do any good? i doubt it.

How can you tell if it is suffering from that pic? Its no more damaging than how they are hearded into meat processing plants or how chickens are crammed into cages and put onto trucks to go to processing plants. People like to bitch and moan when they see stuff like this and if it makes you feel better to speak out and act like you will do something, but you really dont care when you are eating all the food that comes from the killing of these animals. I am a meat eater and I have hunted and processed my own food, but realize that most of the food that you get in the store or restaurants was most likely not treated humanely.

This was posted by a local radio station in Amarillo, Texas. I can't see how this is humane in any way, even if the animal is sick, as some people who saw the photo are claiming is a possibility.
